Sweet should have written their own self penned tracks as singles. In my opinion, this one and Sixties Man just don't cut if the way a Sweet song does e.g Getting in he Mood for Love and the excellent Tell the Truth.
@4162661670 That's great man, I love ELO too and thought Steve was starting to morph into Jeff Lynne. Everybody already thought that ELO did Love is like oxygen and was on the same album as Turn to Stone!
i know the dude tht wrote tht song he is awesome i never realised it was him until he tld me he used to play for the sweet his name is Ray McRiner he was guest guitarest in the 1979 tour of USA and Canada
Not only is this underrated (from original 1980 album called SWEET VI later renamed Water's Edge), but the whole band has been underrated for years and deserve more recognition in the US. The R&R Hall of Fame is loaded with crappy one hit wonder bands. SWEET has a large collection of great songs and they can't be recognized at all, not even from VH1, WTF!
well Andy Scott said that they prefered playin more like Black Sabbath Deep Purple etc. (like allmighty cd "Fanny Adams"), but Brian wanted more pop music. Hearing i dont agree.
Just saw the reformed band with Steve. I would say as a Sweet fan it was an absolutely incredible experience. I would highly recommend going to see them if you get a chance. I got to talk to Steve after the show and ask him several questions. He was very gracious and generous with all of us! Still an incredible bass player and his voice is still great!
tibi is the name of my little dog, really! i love so much sweet speaclly steve priest all his musics and i didn't know this not chart.. i guess maybe that's because of brian.. maybe because the style changed a little bit.. but i'm with you.. this could chart more than a lot of stupid musics we listen nowadays..
Sounds sorta like the quo

The song is actually from the Sweet VI album! I will make sure that Steve (who is my uncle) see the comments! One of my favourite songs!
