Working the heck out of that hand clutch. I have almost given up on clearing with a dozer since you get such a big pile of dirt. Trackhoe much better if you have one. A 12 to 16 ton for clearing and the dozer for decking. I usually get the fence at the same time I get the trees. Some of these old fence lines are just horrible. Outstandingly clear video! What did you use?
@oibljaa2 Well, I would think it would cost more than it's worth to rent a D11, if ya got the D6 use it, you can always learn to repair it yourself :P
@oibljaa2 you can't move a D11 in one pice. the cost to move would more than the D6 would be to buy and you can't just find a D11 to rent. D11 are for moving dirt.
If you are going to grub a tree out be quick about it. Cut the roots on the approach sides and move around to opposite side quickly. The 6's are too light to muscle a tree out from the low side. No more butting on it till you cut the roots and come at it from the high side. You can do better.
Seems to me the operator is letting the dozer bog down too much. He needs to keep RPM's up more.

That's the hard way. I stand on the blade and hook a log chain as high as
I can reach on the trunk, then attach the other end to the blade & BACK UP.
Even the big trees just tip right over, but you got to have that reinforced
