Best and most underrated game ever. Thats why you should all sign the petition to get DLC for shadowrun. There are still people playing this awesome game without ever getting something new. i agree completely, reviews for shadowrun were very sad.

Reviewers completely trashed the game because it was multiplayer only, & was still full price.

its unfair to the devs because they dont decide price, the publisher does.

when i do my reviews i do not take price into account when considering the scores i give it, it is all based on the game itself,

if you believe the game is to expensive, then mention that in the review "you might be better off renting it, or wait for the price to drop"

Shadow run best game since Halo. But alot of people dont know the game exist and its are job to let them know that there is a game better than Halo out there, so if you have xbox live messege all of your friends and tell them to download the free demo.let get more people playing this awsome game. If you dont have xbox live tell your friends and realitives.

first off... i dont think its BETTER than halo, especially halo 3. Besides the gameplay... there is SOO much more to do in halo 3.

it only got bad reviews because it features no single player, and not very many game modes, but its XBOX LIVE, so you know they will add all kinds of stuff like maps, and probably a deathmatch mode

Its a good game...I rented it and now plan on buying it...unique races...a bunch of gadgets and magic...and yes its like Counter Strike and Fantasy put together....which is a good thing ;)

On PC you have to have Live Gold to play against 360 owners, and to have the matchmaking options, Silver can play online for free, PC-to-PC.

yeah, uhhh... the controversy has nothing to do with the game being a first person shooter instead of an rpg. Shadowrun as a fictional setting fits into both genres perfectly. The controversy has to do with ignoring what is specifically impossible in the fictional setting... abilities like resurrection and teleporting. In all four editions of the PnP game, those abilites have been deliberately excluded; not even dragons or powerful spirits can pull this stuff off.

lol @ "Shadowrun disappeared for a while" comment. No video games maybe, but there's been like 20+ books (especially counting novels) and at least one new edition of the core pen and paper rules since the snes game (little fuzzy on the dates).

Anyway, the game itself looks absolutely great and a ton of fun, even if shouldn't really be called Shadowrun.

i dont think he is a sony fanboy so much as he might be a Shadowrun Fanboy... What you fail to realize (aphexious and all shadowrun Fans) is that if Shadowrun were to return at this point as an RPG it would most likely fail horribly. Not that the game would be bad, but that it started as an american RPG back when RPG's were the only thing we had to play really. RPG's were much more marketable then, hence its popularity.

NOW however RPG's in america arent nearly as marketable, by having the series make its return as an FPS it will be have a wider range and will open doors for the world to return as it was originally intended, as an RPG, or maybe in the future an MMORPG.

Basically its a First Person RPG. You "are" the character. Instead of directing where they go you "become" the character and are in a war with the others. This is the way it would have been meant to be if it became a video game. And now it is one. They should do the entire shadowrun story line in campain instead of just tutorials for multi.
