I love my Fluval Chi! I got the 6 gal tank. The filter is very easy to clean, just pull out the old sponge and pop in a new one - a bit of a caveat about fish though - I had Danios (very small fish) that got sucked into the filter and died. It's better to get something the size of a Beta, Molly, Platy, Swordtail, or small Angelfish. The sound of the water is relaxing, and the light makes a pretty display on the ceiling of my dorm room, especially at night.
I just got a new Half Moon Betta and wanted to pick this tank up. I have a concern though. Because Bettas gulp air and make bubble nests will the water feature cause them stress? The moving water doesn't seem like it will let a Betta breathe or maintain the nest... I could be wrong but I thought I'd ask. I love the tank but my fish comes first.
You can lesson the sound of gurgling water by placing some pebbles (which come with it) over the hole on the top. Instead of the water shooting up and pouring over the top it gently just spills over with very little sound. Does that make sense? The tray is a plastic piece that fits on top. You can put plants, decorations etc. in it. I personally didn't like the look of it and can't see the point so I have left it out.
how loud is the water feature, I live in a dorm with a roommate so I don't want anything that will make to much noise at night. You also mentioned a tray that goes on top. What exactly is the tray for?
the fish would jump out of this aquarium.

This seems to be the thing that i was missing the most.
In the summer i can listen to the sound of water with my
outdoor pond when i meditate, I guess that this would
really fill my void in the house

Thanks for responding to the video
