Wow! I really liked the transitions and the different camera angles! Only thing that bothered me was 2:57 when he got shot in the back. I think you should have made the gun sound slightly after he gets hit to seem like the sniper was farther away. And the part at 2:58 the delay between him being hit and the shot was waayyy too long! Other than that i loved it! <3
Hey great job me and my friends loved it so much we have used some of your ideas in our film (: no copyright intended, we shall let you know when it's done (:
great job with everything! looks great, can't wait to watch part 2! my only question would be is to where you got your sound effects! thanks in advance!
OK great Great GREAT video... tho only problem i have with it is at 5:20... a bullet travels faster than the speed of sound. you hear the gunshot before the bullet hits. from that distance a human may not be able to figure out weather the bullet was first or the sound because you are so close to the gun. What you have there is a very very very slow bullet. lol i love the video tho
Well it isn't the sole property of Thad productions because Activision owns those sound effects. Snipers always work in pairs, and their ghillie suits are not usually covered in the front, this would prohibit them from crawling, they usually construct them of burlap materials, not the twine type you see surplus stores selling.. Nice shooting and editing though.
None of our sound effects our from activision. They are actually all sounds from actual guns recorded. Umm the ghillie suit is made of burlap so I don't know what you mean, we made it from hand. I understand why they would keep the front open, as it was hard for our actor to move in :) Thanks for the complements.
cool video effects. i was hoping to see a rifle that the coriolis effect might have on the bullet. unfortunately, i don't see a G36 pulling off that kind of range accurately. you might have been better off using a high caliber bolt action rifle with an actual scope instead of an aimpoint. GREAT VIDEO EFFECTS THOUGH!
Yes, sorry about the disappointment. Of course a G36 could not, you are correct, but it was the largest gun we were left with so it was our only choice. Thanks for the complement!
Our first real HD video is the HD test located in our videos. This is high quality SD footage turned into HD through simple use of pixel dimensions. Sorry to disappoint you. However, do you have anything to say on the content of the video?
Well yes, I had the same problem before i got a new camera. You can lower the volume of the movie or you can by an external mic like a rhode mic which I have. Hope this helps!!!
Barra barra!!!!

@ltkenbo sometimes they may even use 550 cord to make a pattern to make a ghillie suits out of the materials around their environment

awful black frame and not HD. too slow "action" too
HumanityWins 2 years ago
Awful black frame = cinematic. Not HD: Check Description. Slow "action": Okay, I can see that. Thanks for commenting.

Hey really nice work on the film. Just one question I MUST ask. Where did you get those guns and how much were they?
JcA3801 2 years ago
Well I only know I got the guns from a collection of friends. I know one said the sniper rifle was only 20 on a website.

Yeah, unfortunately, my Sony HD camera doesn't have any damned noise reduction, so every film has a huge buzz in the background, any tips?

Wow, thanks! Never thought of getting an external mic.

Yeah, they often have decibel decreasing functions to eliminate camera noise!

Just when I thought this film couldn't get any better, you upload it in HD. Awesomeness.

Ah Man, thanks a lot! The HD still has to go through processing for a little longer! Can't wait to see it when it is full fledged youtube HD
