sorry for the late reply, I went on a vacation to France. Anyways, I used 'stiffened felt' from a craft store. The type I used was called EZ Felt. It's a stiff yet porous material, so you can cut, shape, and sew through it without puncturing it like craft foam would rip apart. I wouldn't suggest using craft foam at all! Use something stiff which you can attach elastic to (an X pattern in the back, and under each arm)

Cosplay fighting is so hilarious to watch. If you guys are going to do Dragonball Z style fighting, at least get a few pointers from martial artists and kin-bo fighters before embarrassing yourselves. Fuck, Zarbon looks like he's scared to even make it look like a successful knee to Goku's face and Goku's costume is already torn up. btw Goku needs some baggier pants and the Frieza was a little over the top to be honest.

Guys, I personally loved Dragonball Evolution. I'll probably start deleting comments which disparage the movie, because honestly I wish my cosplay vids were half as entertaining and awesome as DBE was!

Hi I'm sorry, I'm really busy and I get a lot of comments that I don't read most of them!

The gi pants and tops were made by making very large waisted pants (around 50inches) and adding pleating to the crotch and back. Elastic was then added to the waistband and ankles. The shirts were really just squares sewn together with neck holes and arm holes.

The Piccolo cape was much more complicated and involved a LOT of handsewing. I just don't have the time to go on and describe it! I'm sorry!
