I wouldn't be so sure of that if I were you. Majority of officers I sailed for were SUNY. KP people wind up taking commissions and disappearing into the wide world of low paying federal jobs.

@christiandukie There is no tuition, deckie1985 is an idiot. You buy your computer, your printer, and dental insurance, everything else is issued to you. It costs a grand total of $4,000 for all four years of college. Personally I see that as a trivial amount compared to the $90,000 a year you will be making after you graduate, on top of the $32,000 loan with a .5% interest rate you receive after junior year.
