With the phrase "Maceo, I want you to blow!" James Brown started decades of a powerfullead sax that did include "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag" "Out of Sight" and "Say It Loud." Brown met Maceo and his brother Melvin, in a NC club. Maceo has been key sax man for Ray Charles, Bootsy Collins, and George Clinton. He lives in eastern NC and I see him regularly. He is a legend in his own right.
