Ahhh nostalgia makes me cry. :-( Damn I remember playing Quake 1 on my Windows 2000 PC, with a big CRT monitor, and I remember using about 5 keys at the same time just to play the game. :'( Those were the good old days. The only game I can think of that can match the complexity of Quake 1 is GTA4. All the new games coming out are shit!

I miss Quake. I couldn't play it because it gave me motion sickness. This map was about as far as I got. I knew all of the secrets (then) except the one where you had to swim. Quake II was better, at least in that it didn't make me sick to play.

You should be able to at least install the game files under XP. Set the compatibility mode of Quake.exe to Win 95 or similar.

How about vista? WinQuake works, but when i install Scourge of Armagon, it says: "Not compatable with windows NT" and "System does not support full-screen mode"
