Okay i have watched a couple of these radar detector videos and already i think this whole thing is ridiculous! First off, none of these people in the videos are even speeding or look like they would speed in the first place. Secondly, this is just a stupid little game and the next thing you know the cops will have radar detector detectors. Oh ya... and there about 5 bills too expensive..
@alexdc84 The STi that is mentioned in this video is totally undetectable by ANY RD detector in the world. I have one, and although I've had RDs with better laser sensitivity, it continues to save me all the time, and in a place they're banned, for going on 2 years now. Spectre immunity happened, I invested, and found it totally worth it. Thanks, Radar Roy, btw, he's the king of RD's and an ex cop.
Buy the Redline. I normally stick to Beltronics, but the Redline is of better build quality, sounds better & performance seems better as well. Oh, and the voice on the beltronics sounds like an 80's atari game.
i have sti i swear by it if u no the surroundings and your detecter they are awsome and i never turned it of like alot of people do so they arnt being detected i use mine between adelaide and melb rd and if they are stupid enough to leave on the radar the results are i hear them before i see them 9 times out of 10 i plan to buy a fixed sti so im hoping for same results so i dont have to hide when being pulled over or searched and plan to install a jammer for lazer sti works awsome on open rd
they were both trade in units, didn't cost a cent. I would never pay for this unit, far too over priced for the questionable level of performance. the quality isn't there either, they fail regularlly and say "service required" far too often.
Hi There, No disrespect was intended, I was being flippant, I apologise. But for all their faults i have to admit, I would never leave home without one. Traffic offences are used as a covert tax system over here in the u.k and i strongly recommend anyone to obtain and learn to operate these devices to minimise the effect of traffic system management wherever they are. Keep it up.
