  • Hey musiclover360table ......thanks for turning me on to Robert Randolph. As a 40+year as a professional drummer, I am currently learning steel guitar under the extremely talented instuctor......Joe Wright and trust me...the steel is a true bitch to learn. RR has a very unique style of playing and all of the pickers are extremely talented and gifted. I wonder if he has ever appeared in any of the many steel guitar conventions in the country. I would definatly travel to see RR pick.

  • Hell Yeah!

  • Incredible, yes! But if you really want to hear the Steel Guitar God, search Alvino Rey right here on YouTube. You will believe...

  • Okay if you like this then you will SLOVE (super love) Robert Randolph!!! Robert Randolph is THE BEST pedal steel guitarist I have ever heard! He just came out with a new CD and it’s AMAZING! His solos of him rocking out are to die for! When I listen to his music, I can feel every note, The music really just runs through your body and there aren’t too many artists I can say that about!! Check him out! You won’t be anything less than AMAZED

  • What an amazing groove!! Genius!!

  • which concert? which live album? please tell me! - i must have it!!!

  • Nice C6th work.. Different than the usual jazz I've heard.

  • Class 5*****

  • Paul is awesome. I wish I knew 13 of his licks. I could play all night in the bars with just 13 of them. Awesome drummer here also. Eddie Bayer. Huge Nashville session guy. Hell ...all of them on here are HUGE players.

  • eddie is the king of the groove. he lays it down so easily and hardly uses a metronome.

  • I was lucky enough in the early 90's to be on the outer edge of that, "circle", here in Nashville and was included in some jams from time to time. Eddie and some other big dogs where there also. Very cool time in my life and wouldn't trade it for any thing. The best advice I ever got was from Larry Loundon. He said "Son....If you can't feel it...don't play it and for God Sakes.....Remember, that less is more." I'll never forget it.

  • that's why guys like Larrie and Eddie are legends, man! you know, some people think "oh i can play country, it's repetitive, simple rythyms, any idiot can do it". but when it comes down to it....only a few can really really do it well...and Larrie and Eddie are two of the few! and man you were blessed to be in the same CITY as Eddie.

  • Lucky to meet him also. RIP Mr. Loundon.

  • amazing..

  • Just Great Paul..

  • i have watched paul since he was a teenager he is simply amazing a big inspiration to my playing

  • You can see the entire show The Players with Paul at his best........Adair Torres

  • One of the many prime examples of soloing on the C6 neck and yes, PF IS the best.

  • Paul Franklin.. the best.. marcelo maya

  • What else needs to be said. The Master!!. The best steel guitarist ever lived!!.

  • I've seen better but they don't get the exposure that paul does.

  • Paul is the best !!!!
