for those unaware (i.e americans coming from forcefollows videos probably) a red is always the first ball potted when you get a turn at the table. if you pot it, you must then attempt to pot one of the other coloured balls (called). the pts for which 7-2 for black,pink,blue,brown,green,ye­llow respectively. if you pot the colour you must attempt another red and so on until all reds have gone. after this all the colours are potted in ascending order (Yell,Gre,Bro,Blue,Pink,Black)

@qustav37 you have to go for a red ball (1 point) then a coloured ball and go in that order until the reds are gone then you have to get the coloured balls in, in order of they're point value the black ball is worth 8 i cant remember the others because i haven't played in a while and the max score is 147 i believe

for those that don't know this is snooker. The balls are bout 30% smaller than regular pool. I would say the holes are also about 30% smaller. the table is approximately 2.5X the regular pool table. play this for a week and when you go back to regular pool you would think it's childs play. Definitely much harder to sink any ball in.

in tis version of the game u ave the red balls, and the colored balls, te colored balls have a given order to sink and an amount of points each, and the black happens to be the last one to sink and the one with the highest score, every time u want to sink a colored ball u have to sink a red ball before, and if u sink a colored ball before her turn u get her points but the ball returns on the table, thats why he kept sinking the black, thus the astronomic score

The game is based on getting points for sinking balls not simply clearing the table. The black ball is replaced every time it is sunk to allow for gaining more points.

Every time you pot a red you have to pot a colour. The black is the highest value ball worth 7 points however everytime a colour is potted before the reds run out get put back on the table. Then they have to pot the rest in order which is based on how many points they are worth. Yellow (2), Green (3), Brown (4), Blue (5), Pink (6) and finally the black. The maximum points you can score in a game is 147 which is very hard to do and he did that very fast.

What is sometimes missed is how much more difficult this game is than any version of pool.

As someone said above, If you get 2 pots in a row you're thrilled but a 147, under 5 minutes at the highest level.

It's beyond skill, I doubt I'll ever see anything like it again in my lifetime!

In snooker you have to sink a red ball for one point, then you can hit a colored ball for up to 7 points (the black is worth the most, that's why he kept hitting it), and if you sink a colored ball it gets respotted until all the reds are gone.

In Snooker you're required to pot a red followed by any coloured ball. If the coloured ball is potted it is then replaced and placed back onto it's spot.

The coloured balls are not replaced when there are no more red balls remaining on the table.
