  • Just because it is an obsession does that make it a collection? Gotta go. Saw in your recent video that there were viewmasters from g1 that I need to find.

  • @1984sideswipe found!

  • One of us. One of us.

  • I do not have many Gen 1 toys but I have bought a veritable $%#!-load of other TF series i.e Beast Wars, Armada, Universe, movie junk etc. Nearly every one of them are considered valuable to me. (save armada smokescreen, I'm a good salesman but not that good!) Point is that I am a collector and I concur with your opinion.

  • Classic semi-rant. Collector of sex toys? Who could you have been thinking of?

  • Andy - He dissed Kamen Rider. I think Dave needs a Rider Kick to the forehead! Lol!

  • i think if you buy something and it interests you enough to buy more of that line's product, or even buying similar products from previous lines (eg: Kamen Rider - you buy Double's Henshin Belt and it makes you want the rest of the weapons, then seeing a movie with him and Decade gets you to buy Decade's belt, accesories, etc) and you gain a specific passion for the franchise, you then become a collector of that franchise

  • I think the main result from this week has been, caring for the collection and the things you buy and wanting more and more and more. Funnily enough, my first TF as a serious fan or "supporter of TF" (love that phrase now) was a whim, Alterntors Silverstreak, but it was all downhill from there.

    Do I spy a McDonald's Coca-Cola glass?
