The WC sux's,from Steph Abrams and als mouth,in the morning to Jim C trying to get a golden globe,he can turn a mountain into a mole hill,what about the guy that runs around taking pictures STUPID,its not weather. Consumers pay for weather when they subscribe to the weather channel,not reality tv, Steph A on that stupid weatherproof show,their experiments don't even make sense or compare to nothing. Why does Weather.com LIE about the forecast that much? They totally and utterly ruined my New Years Day by lying again. I could deal with another gloomy cloudy day in New England if they told me the truth but their forecast called for mostly sunny skies and if anything its gotten extremely cloudy and looks like rain. I think they LIE so often to trick people outside so we'd be good consumer whores.

It's turned into the Global Warming/Atlanta Weather Channel. Whenever there's six tornadoes at one time in Oklahoma and one's an F5 either Storm Stories or some other crap is always on or they can only talk about the weather in Atlanta if there's a drop of rain falling from the sky. Sometimes it doesn't even have to be that much it could just be cloudy or rain in the forecast.

TWC sadly has fallen from a quality reliable source of weather information to just more infotainment that dwells on natural disaster oriented programming seeking the sensationalistic over quality which is an all too common trait found in the U.S media in general. Frankly, I can't bear watching it anymore.

The Weather Channel became all garbage, just like thousands of people noticed. Get this trash B.S. off the air, free the frequency, have someone else take it over and give people what they want – the weather reports. I used to tune to it for weather news, current events or even to just take a nap – soothing voices, intelligent comments and good information was all over the place there. Not any more. Please get this embarrassment out of the network or fix it.

I live in Mexico City and yes, it only takes one look at The Weather Channel and you know that they only use a simple formula to "forecast" the weather. This is no meteorology at all, it's bullshit

I agree with these guys 100%. Dr. Forbes is the ONLY good guy left at TWC. Everyone else is gone. TWC has so much garbage now, it's insane. They only do their jobs when a major severe weather outbreak is going on. If I want weather, I watch the local news!

Why does TWC suck? Two things: NBC and Al Roker. NBC bought TWC, and fired all the KNOWLEDGEABLE meteorologists. And Jim Cantore? The guy in is love with himself.

The weather channel is for women. Women won`t shutup about the weather. I worked at a factory as a maintenace man in a factory full of women. When i came in every day there was ten women talking about the weather. And at break time 2. Why they need to know the weather outside is beyond me. They aren`t going outside, They can`t handle it if there is no crisis, drama or gossip . If none in their life they watch someone elses crisis or drama. It`s a WEATHER SOAP OPERA ! Wish they would STF up. !

The weather channel in it's infinite wisdom has decided that viewers no longer need to just be informed..They need to be entertained too.So they started showing movies and producing shows. What the hell is going on here?..Why couldn't it just remain an information channel? Why did it have to go Hollywood?..I mean, you go watch the weather forecast and then you leave to watch something else...Oh no!!..We have to keep them on our channel and be concered about ratings..Absolute nonsense

I've noticed that the weather channel news talking about the Earthquake in Haiti..... what the heck does this have to do with the Weather? Don't get me wrong I think it's an important event (so to those out there who want to trash my post... I never once said it wasn't an important event for the news). I just think if it's going to be called "The Weather Channel" they should stick to the weather. And stop trailing off like someone with ADHD.
