I didn't see GoOnger, but I did like the talking dinos in Abaranger, which I didn't find silly at all. However, I do concede it would probably seem rather strange to the Power Rangers audience, who are used to the mechas being mostly non-sentient robots.

@eamonnwalker they were all sentient when you think about it beacuse for one thing. The all made noises when attack pain but not in megazord form. They're kinda like cyborgs except the Wild Zords and Galacta Beats

The fact that the engines weren't given personalities killed it for me, therefore, I prefer Go-Onger to this.

@akpan2008 Well, it was a funny, sort of satirical, & silly season, it fit the theme to have talking engines in Go-onger & i like it. However, it would not work in RPM because it is a dark, serious season and if they did talk it'd be a drawback for me. Themes & Cultures can change your opinions; what go-onger did might not have worked in rpm

It's happened many times in PR episodes. Sometimes each Ranger gets the opportunity to prepare the others for action/morph.
