I pray she's doing well.

1981: Summers in Sandpoint Idaho!!!! I never did see the vid and when surfing old 1980's tunes this came up. As a canuck our entire family journied from Lethbridge to Sandpoint every summer... Great mix ....memorable tunes, american hospitality, awesome beach babes down at city beach and a hot Ford Pinto.......those were the days. Thanks for posting!!

Sandpoint Idaho, yes, a beautiful place indeed. I was living in Spokane for 15 years and my gf at the time was from Sandpoint, we go back there for the Sandpoint Jazz Festival every year. Those were the days.

This song takes me back to July 1981 when I was in basic training for the Air Force. I had broken up with my girlfriend before I left and I really hadn't thought much about her, then one night when I was was on guard duty someone had a radio and this song came on. Needless to say, the rest of basic training was terrible because this song and my ex stayed on my mind. Big George really cranked this one. This is a very good song.
