I agree!! She used to be real and true! What happened to her?! When I heared of her new album I was happy, but when I watched girlfriend, how avril looks like, sings, and dances I started to cry. She was rock now she's POP! I like her still! In her new albun there's only three good songs :(

When your a teen, you go through phases, maybe this was a phase, and it worked - she got the popularity and sales.
Now she's older and mature. She's married and has a lot of responsibilities now. You can't expect her to stay punk forever, can you imagine a 60 year old Avril with grandchildren still being punk? It would be weird.

as much as i hate avril anyways i have to say that she is different because she grew up. i thought she was fake the whole time and i think this proves it however, she was what, 15 or something when she started? she's grown up and married. you can't expect her to act/dress like a teenager forever.

I Don't Know why everyone is complaining. I always thought she wasn't herself as a punk. I think she has 2 sides: Punk-side, but like every girl she has a "girly-girly" side. So yeah, she's different. But maybe she's herself. And that's the best ;)
