@wamkikfly Allot of the time it is residual fertilizer salts (especially with non organic ferts) Its always a good idea to flush the the plants with just water at the last 2 weeks of flowering. The last week its alright to slightly over water. That itself will smooth out even the harshest of smoke.

check out the 1000wps grow comparison on the youtube inda-gro vids. I believe that you'll do better with this SOG under wider spectrums as the UVB really brings out the resin trichrome and oil production. The Michigan grow yielded better dry weights and shorter harvests on some strains

Very interesting! I would love to see how you set up the mechanics of this whole ebb&flow operation. I am also doing an ebb and flow grow, but mine is much more 'ghetto' - as in, big reservoir tubs on top of which plants sit...

I find with that system I have to change the reservoir and flush the plants to remove salt buildup like every 2-3 weeks. With your setup it doesn't look like you do that since there isn't any room to get to the back plants AND the scrog setup of course. How do u do it?

Oh I'm not criticizing you see...I'm just curious how you run it. I'm assuming a big barrel-type reservoir that floods the plant buckets every few hours, right? Do you find just changing and cleaning the remote res is enough to keep the plants happy, or do you flush the plants with clean ph adjusted water in some way to remove salt buildup? I found it an issue for me so that's why I'm curious to see how others handle it, if it is better than the way I have been doing so far

@mastinonapoletano420 did you just say it will yield more than big trees? Those extra weeks of veg plus the pot size makes a big difference. And it's way better then harvesting all at once because you can put 2 in and pull 2 out to harvest. You can top it to have many tops. With a small plant, you can have one top then popcorn stuff. If you have a good rotation then you can harvest every 2 weeks instead of 8. You can pull 7oz to 10oz off a plant and maybe an oz off one small plant? You do the m

@matprithellodave you always want negative pressure. more sucking then pushing. 2500 input and 1000 output would be terrible where would that extra 1500 input air go? 1000 output sure as hell wouldnt exchange all that air meaning the rest of the air going into the grow room would LEAK out of the grow room thro cracks in the room/doorway, then the smell wouldnt filter thro the carb filter resulting in smelling marijuana outside room. i use a 10inch can fan for output and 8inch can fan for input.
