Wait Link lost the Triforce of Courage when he set out to find Navi? That happened in Majoras Mask...so can someone please explain to me what happened? I haven't played MM in a while...
@OoTobsessed That actually isn't canon. It's unknown if Link still has the Triforce of Courage in Majora's Mask. It's generally assumed that he does, but considering that the Triforce is essentially Hyrule's foundation the idea of it leaving Link when he left the kingdom IS plausable, and for the purpose of this story, that's exactly what happened. I may recycle that idea if and when I reboot this series. I want to, but I've know idea if I will be able to after all this time. We'll see.
Man, i would love to see more of this from you dude. Update to Brawl and keep going. Oh, and if you could find a way to tie in the TetraForce, that would be freaking awesome.
@Dragorn54 Hey, thanks for the comment. I'll have you know first and foremost that the series isn't dead despite how old it is. I have aspirations to remake it when I have help with Choreography (and I'm going to use both Melee and Brawl).
Funny that you should mention the Tetraforce though. I've always liked that theory, and I DID want to add it in somehow but never really figured out how before deciding to reboot the series.

@pikajes96 I'm sorry my... three year old series doesn't suit you. This was back when I was very new to machinima and was a much worse writer than I am now, so I realize it isn't exactly up to par. However, for a first attempt and with the equipment I had to deal with (I was recording a TV with crappy quality using a video camera and my AR was useless.) I still feel it was a decent first attempt. You may be more partial to the series whenever I begin the remakes though, whenever that may be.

@warriorchick31 As I've said before, the series is going to be remade at some point in the near or far future depending on when me and my girlfriend are living together. I need help to choreograph and she's agreed to do it whenever we're living together now that my brother's lost interest.
Melee has a camera mode that allows you to angle the camera in different ways. It's made easier with an action replay, and you get more angles but I don't have an action replay so I had to work with what I had.
@Darbster3000 Eventually, yes. The thing is, I want a unique aspect of this series (or rather, the remake) to be to start on Melee and transition to Brawl at a certain point. The problem with that plan is that Melee is an absolute bitch to choreograph with only one person. Currently I don't have any help with choreography and I don't want to do a half baked job with it. So I want to wait until I actually have someone to help in that department before continuing with the remake.

@Darbster3000 Thanks, this was my first attempt at making machinima, and I did feel it was ok for a first but definitely not on par with some of the more popular series'. Moreover, I'd always get comments complaining about the quality or the text speed which I already knew was a problem so they didn't help me improve, nor motivate me. wow link was soft in the making of this really weird i didn't now he had a soft side he has like3 a kill it side and a sage side the triangle thing is weird its link with um i think courage and the rest i forgot so if he has a soft side but his mark is for courage this just weird but i love how it has a flash back from when they were kid its like they were sneaking out of the castle and link said um i not sure but he should have courage there not be like scared you need to really remake this
@yellowgirlz22 I really enjoy seeing comments like this. Allow me to explain. Just like anyone, Link's personality is not completely polar. His character is deep, and there's more there than just the Hero some see him as. Also, indeed, Link does hold the Triforce of Courage but consider for a moment what Courage is. Courage is shown when one stands up to hardship despite their fear, it is not the absence of fear itself. I am remaking the series, but I plan for Link to stay exactly how he is.
@jonathan10597 Where did you find this out? I have never seen anything that actually gives a clear cut answer to what the bird is. Some people suggest eagle, others, phoenix. I've never seen the Roc suggested, but I kind of get where you're coming from because of the 'Roc's Feather'. However, the red color suggests phoenix to me, so that's what I've gone with for a while. It's kind of up in the air about what the bird actually is... but Phoenix just seems more majestic than the rest so it works.
@wtcLink I knew the Phoenix had some importance in the games but I don't know what... so I made up my own story for it which I may or may not keep in the remake once I eventually get around to it. I didn't know that Nintendo has officially confirmed it's importance though. I'm looking forward to what they have planned for it though.

One error though; Link still has the Triforce of Courage after Navi leaves him. Call me crazy, but enter "ocarina of time ending" in the search bar and look closley at Link's left hand when he revisits Zelda... It's glowing, isn't it?
Why it isn't visible in MM, I'm not sure. It's either because he isn't around another Triforce bearer or Nintendo didn't want to spend the money.

Very perceptive, and I have noticed his triforce glowing at the end of OoT. However, the fact that it isn't there in Majora's Mask is precisely why I decided to bring life to the idea of it leaving him. Majora's Mask appears to take place a couple of years after OoT given that Link's quite a bit taller in Majora's Mask.
But... given that I've decided to remake the series, I've also decided to remake the reason the Triforce left Link to make it more in depth, and make more sense. Thanks though
Heres a story suggestion rap. if you want to, my story suggestion is to start the story with link and then later...SHOW DARK MARTH....because i didn't see the whole self of dark marth in secrets of triforce, only his cape and legs. so.....SHOW THE WHOLE SELF OF DARK MARTH. here is another suggestion. this is just a texture hack suggetstion, you dont have to do this im just suggesting...could you make the shadow characters look all dark and have red eyes?

Of course. That's what texture hacks are for though. People have made Roy textures from Ike before. All I have to do is download one of those texture files and use it. Presto, Roy has joined the Brawl :P.

No. I have AN Action Replay but it's crap. It doesn't have any codes that I can actually use for machinima purposes. That's why I'm making the main part of the series on Brawl. The Mele episodes will essencially be a prelude, though they WILL advance the plot.

Currently, as you may or may not know I'm actually remaking the series. SotT as you see it now, is not exactly the series I'd invisioned when I started.
Now however, I have more experience in machinima, along with better equipment. The remakes are going to be more elaborate and detailed than this series. I'm sticking to the same theme, but it's going to be revamped.
The series is also going to be under a new name ('Secrets of the Triforce' doesn't exactly work given the story I'm planning). It's going to be called 'The Legend of Zelda: Forgotten Legacies' whenever the pilot episode is released. I also plan to make a trailer soon as well, once I finish the script.
Ugh... I could get into this debate once again but I'd really rather not. There are NO conclusive facts relating to this subject. There is no factual evidence of Link and Zelda being related.
There is no factual evidence that they are lovers either, but being the romantic person I am, and a Zelinker, I'm going with this.

You're probibly talking about the Gerudo Valley theme. come the remakes, I likely will use that song at some point. I plan to go all out with the next series (the second season especially which will likely be much longer than the first) and I'd love to use texture hacks to create some costal or desert cities and towns. The latter of which, Gerudo Valley would work perfectly on.

Raptorking, if the story is not set up like it should so that you can make an Episode 6, you should either change the idea of the future story in your mind or revise an earlier episode to help fit your vision. You surprised me at the end of Episode 5, I thought that Link would bring Mario along to him, because he's a perfectly capable fighter.
Even with REVISIONS it wouldn't work how I want it without remaking the whole thing. It won't take that long to get to this point in the story once the remakes start anyway.
Also, you say Mario is a perfectly capable fighter.
And Zelda's not? She's a powerful mage and a speedy ninja all wrapped into one. The main reason though, is the theme of the series... it's focused largely on the romance betwen Link and Zelda. how their love and support for each other helps them overcome these trials.
Your plight makes sense. What if Mario went with them? Large parties just result in an easier fight. Well, I guess that wouldn't work, because Super Smash Bros. Melee only allows a maximum of four players on the battlefield at the same time. Comment back and tell me what you think. This conversation is just starting to get interesting.
That is another point. Actually though, without action replay (which I have, but not with the code) there can only be THREE characters on screen (the fourth controller controls camera. This would make battles improssible without an unnecessarily large amount of editing.
Also, as I mentioned before. This story is meant to focus on Link and Zelda, and the development of their relationship as the story goes on. If Mario was to come with them, that would take the focus away from this theme, because they would act differently with him around than they would with him not, due to issues like respect for him and their own modesty.

I have so many ideas, directly related to this series that I want to use, but that I can't this late in. That is why I want to remake it.
Having these five episodes up already gives me a draft of how the story should go, so the episodes with those parts won't take that long.
As I said, I understand your argument... and I wish I could give you what you want, but with these new ideas I have it would be impossible for me to create the story I in envision while continuing the series as it is.

I've mentioned it in many coments and the news video. I'm remaking the series. Episode 6 will come once the remakes are done... and will continue with their changes to the storyline.
Oh I'm going to be making the entire series... It's just right now, I see so many things that don't work that I'd like to take out, or stuff I thought up that would be great to ad but that I can't at this point in the story.
It's going to be the same story, just improved. And yes, once I get to that point I'll be making an episode six... that's where the remakes will end and the story will continue from them.
Part six is suspended for now. What I'm going to be doing next is making remakes of the episodes I've already made. I'm going to be fixing/adding/removing certain things, but the story will be the same.
I suppose that line didn't work as well as it could have. When I make the remakes I'll be changing the dialect structure of some of the characters so it will work more for the way they speak.
Well... This series will continue to be on Melee... even when I remake these episodes. But the sequel will be on Brawl as I have said before.
When that happens, I do have a solution for the lack of a camera mode... Appearently the Homebrew channel has various hacks and one of those, you can use to get a camera mode. I'm gonna do that :)

By the by, for the remake, Zelda's father's name is Actually Daphness Nohansen Hyrule, but when you remake this, why don't you just put Daphness down for when he talks to Zelda?
I know. But his name was never mentioned in this story. Until the character appears or the name is mentioned, I always have the name down as '???' to add realism. This shows that it's a voice the audience would not recognize, and being as the character doesn't appear, the audience isn't meant to know who exactly they are, though most fans would make the correct guess.
True... His name wasn't mentioned which is why I kept it on the mysterious side, however, thinking back I probibly could've just put down 'King of Hyrule' :S...

Good ears! I use alot of Final Fantasy music as well as Zelda music. Specifically music from VIII and X... They are my favorites of the series, and in my opinion also have some of the best tracks too.

Good thing I sold ikt for parts, little did I know that it didn't cost the same as a nintendo gamecube so I still needed about $100!

@OoTobsessed That actually isn't canon. It's unknown if Link still has the Triforce of Courage in Majora's Mask. It's generally assumed that he does, but considering that the Triforce is essentially Hyrule's foundation the idea of it leaving Link when he left the kingdom IS plausable, and for the purpose of this story, that's exactly what happened. I may recycle that idea if and when I reboot this series. I want to, but I've know idea if I will be able to after all this time. We'll see.

Funny that you should mention the Tetraforce though. I've always liked that theory, and I DID want to add it in somehow but never really figured out how before deciding to reboot the series.

@pikajes96 I'm sorry my... three year old series doesn't suit you. This was back when I was very new to machinima and was a much worse writer than I am now, so I realize it isn't exactly up to par. However, for a first attempt and with the equipment I had to deal with (I was recording a TV with crappy quality using a video camera and my AR was useless.) I still feel it was a decent first attempt. You may be more partial to the series whenever I begin the remakes though, whenever that may be.

Melee has a camera mode that allows you to angle the camera in different ways. It's made easier with an action replay, and you get more angles but I don't have an action replay so I had to work with what I had.

@Darbster3000 Eventually, yes. The thing is, I want a unique aspect of this series (or rather, the remake) to be to start on Melee and transition to Brawl at a certain point. The problem with that plan is that Melee is an absolute bitch to choreograph with only one person. Currently I don't have any help with choreography and I don't want to do a half baked job with it. So I want to wait until I actually have someone to help in that department before continuing with the remake.

@yellowgirlz22 I really enjoy seeing comments like this. Allow me to explain. Just like anyone, Link's personality is not completely polar. His character is deep, and there's more there than just the Hero some see him as. Also, indeed, Link does hold the Triforce of Courage but consider for a moment what Courage is. Courage is shown when one stands up to hardship despite their fear, it is not the absence of fear itself. I am remaking the series, but I plan for Link to stay exactly how he is.

@jonathan10597 Where did you find this out? I have never seen anything that actually gives a clear cut answer to what the bird is. Some people suggest eagle, others, phoenix. I've never seen the Roc suggested, but I kind of get where you're coming from because of the 'Roc's Feather'. However, the red color suggests phoenix to me, so that's what I've gone with for a while. It's kind of up in the air about what the bird actually is... but Phoenix just seems more majestic than the rest so it works.

One error though; Link still has the Triforce of Courage after Navi leaves him. Call me crazy, but enter "ocarina of time ending" in the search bar and look closley at Link's left hand when he revisits Zelda... It's glowing, isn't it?
Why it isn't visible in MM, I'm not sure. It's either because he isn't around another Triforce bearer or Nintendo didn't want to spend the money.

Very perceptive, and I have noticed his triforce glowing at the end of OoT. However, the fact that it isn't there in Majora's Mask is precisely why I decided to bring life to the idea of it leaving him. Majora's Mask appears to take place a couple of years after OoT given that Link's quite a bit taller in Majora's Mask.
But... given that I've decided to remake the series, I've also decided to remake the reason the Triforce left Link to make it more in depth, and make more sense. Thanks though

No. I have AN Action Replay but it's crap. It doesn't have any codes that I can actually use for machinima purposes. That's why I'm making the main part of the series on Brawl. The Mele episodes will essencially be a prelude, though they WILL advance the plot.

Now however, I have more experience in machinima, along with better equipment. The remakes are going to be more elaborate and detailed than this series. I'm sticking to the same theme, but it's going to be revamped.

You're probibly talking about the Gerudo Valley theme. come the remakes, I likely will use that song at some point. I plan to go all out with the next series (the second season especially which will likely be much longer than the first) and I'd love to use texture hacks to create some costal or desert cities and towns. The latter of which, Gerudo Valley would work perfectly on.

Raptorking, if the story is not set up like it should so that you can make an Episode 6, you should either change the idea of the future story in your mind or revise an earlier episode to help fit your vision. You surprised me at the end of Episode 5, I thought that Link would bring Mario along to him, because he's a perfectly capable fighter.

Even with REVISIONS it wouldn't work how I want it without remaking the whole thing. It won't take that long to get to this point in the story once the remakes start anyway.

And Zelda's not? She's a powerful mage and a speedy ninja all wrapped into one. The main reason though, is the theme of the series... it's focused largely on the romance betwen Link and Zelda. how their love and support for each other helps them overcome these trials.

That is another point. Actually though, without action replay (which I have, but not with the code) there can only be THREE characters on screen (the fourth controller controls camera. This would make battles improssible without an unnecessarily large amount of editing.

Also, as I mentioned before. This story is meant to focus on Link and Zelda, and the development of their relationship as the story goes on. If Mario was to come with them, that would take the focus away from this theme, because they would act differently with him around than they would with him not, due to issues like respect for him and their own modesty.

I have so many ideas, directly related to this series that I want to use, but that I can't this late in. That is why I want to remake it.

Well... This series will continue to be on Melee... even when I remake these episodes. But the sequel will be on Brawl as I have said before.
When that happens, I do have a solution for the lack of a camera mode... Appearently the Homebrew channel has various hacks and one of those, you can use to get a camera mode. I'm gonna do that :)
I know because in Nintendo's infinate stupidity the new update blocks that... but I just won't install that update ;)

I know. But his name was never mentioned in this story. Until the character appears or the name is mentioned, I always have the name down as '???' to add realism. This shows that it's a voice the audience would not recognize, and being as the character doesn't appear, the audience isn't meant to know who exactly they are, though most fans would make the correct guess.

Perhaps it's YOU who needs to get a life. Anyone who searches for videos they do not enjoy only to flame the creaters cannot have much of a life themselves.
And in case it was not obvious enough before, this series has absolutely NOTHING to do with anime, yugioh or anything else of the sort.
Now if you are finished spouting nonsense, is there anything about the video itself you would like to say? I'm always looking for constructive criticism...

Good ears! I use alot of Final Fantasy music as well as Zelda music. Specifically music from VIII and X... They are my favorites of the series, and in my opinion also have some of the best tracks too.

I will dude. Here pretty soon I'll likely have the money to by a capture card, so the quality will be alot better, and those lines on the screen and the scrolling thing won't be there :). It shouldn't take me that long to get one now that I have a way to make a little bit of money, even though I don't have a job yet.

Whoops! My bad. No offence meant by it, but it's hard to tell sometimes over the internet... Only have the name to go by xD.
But yeah, I'll hopefully get the money to buy a capturecard in a couple of weeks or so... At that point I'll probibly just re-do what little I've done on episode 6 because of better quality, and the fact my bro isn't as enthusiastic about helping anymore, so I need to use CPUs most of the time :P

OMG LMAO! Dude, besides the fact that I'm a girl, unless you're one too, WE ARE JUST ALIKE WHEN IT COMES TO THOSE HIGH PRICES!!! Dammit, when my boyfriend tried to steal my nintendo wii, not only did I dump him, but my three older brothers jumped him, while I drove his car, (jumping out half way of course) into a nearby tree somewhere at the bottom of the woods! Good thing I sold ikt for parts, little did I know that it didn't cost the same as a nintendo gamecube so I still needed about $100!
