  • .. Now split the second arrow. :D

  • HELL OF A SHOT MAN! I love your reaction, I just did that today with a compound bow and carbons same distance. not as impressive as yours i'd say.

  • dang!!!

  • Nice shot I don't see that can be fake

  • I don't say it counts if you put an arrow in the target and shoot at it. it should take two shots.

  • i did that today nice shot by the way

  • whats the name of the music?

  • fantastic!

  • i just shot my first with myrecurve today at 15 yds

  • It's real, I've done it before too with modern arrows and they will not splinter fully like wooden ones, the arrow will just stick out of the back of the other one.

  • You are chuffed as hell with that shot and anyone would be.

  • Great shot but I thinks it's fake sorry I'm sure your still a great young marksmen

  • AWESOME shot with a BEAUTIFUL bow! Keep it up, guy

  • robin split it you dident

  • he's split robin's arrow in twain!

  • Well that's a waste of two perfectly good arrows. jk good job

  • Arrows pointed down how can u robbin hood it like that

  • Your 10000th try??

  • @runeguy277 mate try and find many other successful attempts caught live of this. This is a great achievement and shouldnt be brought down by a bunch of haters

  • I still have the arrow that I did a 'Robin Hood' on (also accidental). Really cool, then you realize that you just ruined an arrow and will need to replace it! Keep it traditional!

  • Sweet

  • zsír :D

  • You gonna get it mounted? Ha jk...

  • you can see the tape on the end of the arrow joining it to the back tard and the color of the grass changed

  • was fake dude ha but love what ur doing having fun with it, keep it up

  • nicht schlecht, man!

aber noch größeres glück hattest du, dass du die kamera gerade vor diesem schuss angeschaltest hast...;-)

  • Nice bow

  • This is a great shot but it shouldn't be grouped with the Mythbusters as proving their science wrong. Jamie and Adam were testing a full split of the arrow. THe shot in the video, while still amazing, does not split the arrow completely through. The Mythbusters were able to do a similar shot but could not replicate a FULL split.

  • That was Bollocks........!

  • Even if it was luck that was awesome :)

  • For those people who think that it was edited because of the shake IT IS NOT! It shook when the arrow made contact

  • That was impressive .

  • @JCrain03 i have robbin hooded more arrows than you could even do in a life time and i must admit this kid like he said in his discription got lucky

  • Nice Lord of the Rings music

  • BE-U-T-FULL

  • Type PRIZE before youtube and hit enter

  • Kevin Costner eat your heart out.

  • Awesome! Great shot!

  • I think all the negative comments are from skeptics due to the camera flinch. I have one that I saved with the 2nd arrow burried about 5 inches into the first (alluminum shafts); I hung it on my wall and tagged it with the date, yardage (only 20 but still) and bow info. If you did it then you know it and that's what really counts.

  • Nice shot!! What are your arrows made of?

  • nice bow i shot one of those once and only once its hard

  • Hay that was a good shot

  • whats with the music.

  • alsmost half dislikes, lol they're just jealous.

  • that land that you have the target on, is it yours? how many acres?

  • It was cut then put another vid of him shooting it the same day..

  • thats realy good dude congratz

  • Congratulations Jan!

Please, I like very much that bow, therefore I am asking informations to the experts; that model is covered of leather: so, do you feel any kind of problem on the limbs with the humidity or drizzle?

    :)

  • @guerrierodelgiaguaro Thank you :) ,

no until now i havent noticed any kind of problems with it, i always keep my bow inside at night, only get it out when i am shooting.

i think i got it 2 years ago and it still works perfectly !

  • @guerrierodelgiaguaro i would recomend starting withe a bigginers recurve bow and dont put eny thing on it yet

  • luck and skill dude luck and skill. I dont wanna be getting chased by this kid. you tried like a thousand times. You see all of the holes in the target paper.

  • @Slagar1000 he obv didnt luck it... the other Holes are from practicing before. he obv did not buy a new target just for a robinhood?

  • luck and skill dude luck and skill. I dont wanna be getting chased by this kid.

  • wow thats amazing i wish i could even shoot a recurve i can shoot a compound and thats it...

  • I guess you should have been in The Lords Of The Ring movies.... for sure...nice shot man.. =)

  • wooooooot Lord of the Rings!

  • either your arrow gained like super sonic spead for a split second before impact or you did a little editing lol maybe im wrong... i guess ill figure it out in a sec when i break it down into individual frames lol

  • nice shot jung man :)

  • i sorry i missed that could you do it again

    JK

  • Dude that's awesome.

  • nice

  • Also, since it appears to be a continuous shot from the point when you set up the camera till the point where the arrow impacts, you made this on your first attempt. Incredible, I say....

  • Fake! So obviously edited several videos together. Also, I guessed you didn't actually do it before I saw the splice point of the video. How? You are so young and don't move with the kind of discipline that such an accurate archer certainly would. Even for one of the top archers in the world to do this would probably wear out their patience if they were filming it by themselves with a point and shoot camera.

  • I shoot re curve and that's hard. He was awesome!

  • I did it with my compound bow when i first got it at 20 yards. I kept the arrows for almost a year but know believed me so ii got rid of them

  • @MattCHollis1988 It's a lot harder to shoot like that with a re curve. Compound is easier.

  • nice shot

  • good job

  • FAKE you can argue impact but you cant argue lighting.. good editing but not good enough lol. also watch inbetweeen the breaches as the arrow hits.. also watch the arrow flight right before impact. its clearly low.. but nice video anyways.. you appear to have fooled a few people lol. MAINLY watch the shadows on the grass right under the arrow. :-)

  • some people try the elusive shot their entire lives! You look pretty young and should be damn proud of that shot, a true holy grail!!!

  • OMG, we got Legolas in the flesh.

  • Very lovely shooting!

  • I wish I were already shooting my 35 lb bow. I'd be dandy.

  • woah dood!!!

  • Excellent Shooting!

  • Comment removed

  • Yes i think i sould have done this = /

  • @RayvenX28 he has this vid...

  • That was awesome ^^ What a great day that must have been =)

  • HOLY CRAP!!

    NICE!!

  • Did you mount the arrows afterwords?

  • The light changed just as the arrow hit. The camera was stopes and then started.

  • Obviously it was not fake, the arrows wobbled just as they should have, the camera jerked because the camera was mounted on the target! This is an Amazing shot!!!! One in a million !!! Archer would wait all life for this shot! And you go tit on camera too you lucky Dog! great video!

  • camera cut before the arrow hit

  • I think it´s real. Camera moved because of impact.

  • next time make sure the camera is place some where were it wont move then i'll will believe

  • he didnt do it watch 1:03 to 1:05 the angle

of the camra moved so he probably stoped recording it then put arrow in with a hammer and started recorded again

  • I would never do this to my arrow!

the angle switched because of the impact

  • it moved just before it hit

  • @janwiller It's not just the angle that changes. All the color contrasts do too. There are obviously two shots in that sequence.

  • @Valyn66 the colour changes all throughout the video, its the clouds, the sky, the sun

  • @janwiller then why didyou shoot it?

  • @janwiller i doubt this as the angle moved to sharp on impact and we couldnt see the arrows flight path

  • @janwiller uhhm before the impact the camera switched!

  • @janwiller dont worry he trollin, nice shot man

  • @rodneymullenfan17 but why would he let it keep on swinging?

  • @rodneymullenfan17 The arrow was shown in mid flight. He obviously made the shot.

  • @rodneymullenfan17 i was thinkin the same thing

  • @rodneymullenfan17 thats messed up that u would say that if you shoot archery and have never done this stop talking crap to other people and get out there and practice untill u do this

  • @rodneymullenfan17 Definitely not the case. If you stop the video at 1:04 you can see the arrow coming in. Hell of a shot kid.

  • Mythbuster simply showed you cannot split an arrow into two separate pieces. You can bury it in the shaft like this....it happened even in the Mythbusters episode.

  • i'm pretty sure u could split a fiberglass arrow - this one is carbon. there's no way to split an arrow like that^^

  • someone else has done it with wooden arrows its not impossible just unlikely mythbusters is very inaccurate about a lot of things

  • and why wouldnt the camera shift after the arrow hits rather than before

  • holy crap!

  • Ha! Your reaction was great! I love shooting those styles of bow - the power is immense!

  • Good job, and love the bow!

  • dont work it was testet at MITHBUSTERS

  • ok it will work but u have to be shooting a bow that has around a 80 lbs draw weight and u can split a arrow. O and dont trust everything u see on tv

  • @deer3000125

I just did it with two carbon arrows, with my 50 pound bow. To be honest, Mythbusters only showed that it isn't likely to happen.

  • true

  • impresionante, que cabrón!!!!

  • very cool

  • nicht schlecht !!
