On a somewhat related note, does anyone know if Atlus plans on redoing the voiceovers in English or leaving the Japanese? Please just respond with what you know, not what you'd prefer, because I don't feel like seeing another Language War.
I would think they would do english voices. Since I don't think they would leave the Japanese in. THey might leave the san or chan in since Atlus did that with Persona 3 FES.

Man, this looks like one of those awesome games that will never be sent overseas. Especially problematic for me since I don't have the money nor the language skills to import.
Think of it this way. A company who has the experience of writing professional-quality fanfics of virtually every giant robot anime in existence over 20+ games decides to make their own characters and mecha, taking the best of everything they've learned and putting it in a package that can potentially be released in America. How is that NOT a good idea?
He's an interdimensional bounty hunter with a cyborg sidekick and a miniature Gespenst at his disposal. (There's one other thing, but I'm not sure if it's a spoiler or not.) He could have the lamest personality of all time and he'd STILL be badass. That said, I think he's one of those guys that realizes how badass he is and goes with it just because it's so damn fun.

I personally think the stupid, blatant fan service like here just deteriorates whatever medium it appears in. Suggestiveness is one thing, but alot of this just blows it way out of proportion. It doesn't do anything for the game or gameplay; it makes the game look childish.
I like breasts as much as anyone, but this is just in bad, bad taste.
As for 2D graphics, I'm for all things 2D. I may very well cease to play modern video games altogether should 2D eventually die off.

Nanbu i can see the Sanger resemblence with the sword, but I don't see enough Kyosuke. If Nanbu is our Sanger though than wonder if they will give the "Mystery Gourmet" a pair of breasts and a skimpy outfit for a "Womanly Formation" (you need to be shot if you dont know what I mean)
I never said Harken had any link to Excellen, if anything its cause he looks straight ranged attack. If anything Harken is a Gilliam which is more or less proven by the Black Gespenst(3:30).
Really looking forward to this game. Although it's not made by the same developers as SRW W, it looks awesome. Similar to Namco X Capcom... I hope. At least there are characters from that game.
again Haken looks like Hamel from manga name Violinist of Hameroon.

The dialog and text is english but the voices for combat are japanse.

Im not sure if his japanese name is Kenji but it isent in english.

Meh. The game itself looks decent, and the animation is pretty good, but the fan service is more annoying than ever. I'd be embarrassed to play this.
It does well to shut up the people who say a DS SRW wouldn't be able to feature much in the way of voices, though.

Aschen is straight up Lamia replacement (durr: if Code:ATA wasnt a dead give away).
I get a strong Seoulla vide from Suzuka with a side of Carla. Nanbu I get strong Sanger vibes from.
HARKEN IS STRAIGHT GILLIAM!! Reason: Black Gespenst and it gets Gespenst Kick :o
In the end this will be interesting, but we'll see how it is when it comes out

Namco-Bandai owns Branpresto now and they (Namco-Bandai) also owns KOS-MOS so there is a little chace of a US release

I see Real Robots and Supers, and kinda glad to see the Alt made it in its blue form. Also looks like Arisu is a cross between Kyosuke and Sanger

Well saying that the storyline is AFTER NxC its more like NamcoXCapcom2....But get rid of Capcom and add SRW...So its then more like NamcoxBranpresto?
Regardless it seems the mechas were added last second or so saying that a good half of the people fighting are normal sized people...
..The only plus I find from all of this? The fighting system from NxC comes back ( I enjoy that a bit more then say "choose attack and then watch" ).
As for US?...2% chance at most...NxC never came, So why this?

I think the bosses OHKO'ing people is just to demonstrate their animations. It wouldn't feel as powerful if they just shrugged it off.
