that piano sounds so magnificent!!!! its casio isnt it. what kind of piano is that??? hows the sustain? on a real piano the note will be held for as long as the sustain pedal is held down. the note will play until the string stops vibrating. thats what separates real pianos from digital.

@CalebTheGuitarist Actually I have the same piano as him, and its a Yamaha.

The sustain is great. I actually think he mixed it with another instrument(there are like 500 in the settings list) because you can hear some synth in the background,especially at about 2:30. But it's a great piano and if your looking for a portable Grand, thats the piano you need to get.

Yeah all my covers--the killers, coldplay, deathcab, imogen heap, whoever--are all done by me completely by ear...it takes me a few minutes to replicate any song in particular and then a bit longer to fine-tune certain parts but yeah. So yea not from someone else's video, it was all in my head lol.

because shes singing it makes such a unique sound.

One thing: The part where the words are "sweeping insensitivity of this - still life" didn't seem quite right. It felt like you just played the first verse over again. Maybe think about modifying that to make it sound a bit more unique? Just a little constructive criticism ;) otherwise, that was truly beautiful.

Nope, everything is one single take. For the background, I use the "dual" setting; if you hold that button down you can edit which other sound you put over the grand piano and I like "205" which is Notre Dame--some combination of a faint choir and a church organ. I think it works as a background very nicely and I've been using it on most all my videos lately.
