I'm trying to buy one Tony Dixon's whistle, but wich one is your's? Brass or Aluminium body.

Do you know the name of your model an tune?. D maybe?

@pilotin44 Thanks, yeah this whistle's in D - it's called 'Dixon Trad' or something like that, the main body is nickel and the head is just plastic, hope that helps

@pilotin44 I've not had a teacher, but have been playing for about 15 years and listening to recordings of great Irish musicians like Matt Molloy, The Chieftains, Mary Bergin - so I guess you could say I've learned from their playing... Good luck and have fun with your new whistle!
