  • haha what a great, brutal fight. Saddler is dirty as hell but has a hell of a chin and Pep is trying to dodge & block, landing bombs and even using judo to get Saddler the hell off. need to find the whole fight lol

  • Roger Mayweather said Willie Pep wasn't shit. Why he wasn't shit was because he was nothing but a white boy with a bullshit record. Thats what Roger said. He also said Willie Pep doesn't compare to Henry Armstrong[A black boxer]. But in my opinion Armstrong didn't have half the boxing skill Pep had. Remember Like you said Roger skills pay the bills. You racist fool

  • Pep was never the same after a plane crash before these fights. If that never happend, I think he'd win every fight with Saddler by UD.

First fight I'll give Saddler. Pep won the second. The third Pep was dominating on all scorecards and should have won by TD or at least a no contest. As for the fourth, this was clearly a dirty fight. Nontheless, Pep was winning on all scorecards and lost because of an injury he got when Saddler eyegouged him.

Overall Pep is greater than Saddler.

  • IF THERE EVER WAS A PERFECT FIGHT.... IT WOULD BE

SUGAR RAY ROBINSON VS. SALVADOR "CHAVA" SANCHEZ..... WITH MY BOY SAL WINNING EITHER BY LATE KO OR S/D!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA I DNT GIVE FUCK WHAT ANY OF U SAY!!! HAHAHAHHA

  • This was a bullshit ass fight!!!! Saddler would stand no chance against chava..... & as soon as chava hunted dwn pep frm running all fucking fight he wouldve got outboxed as well!!!!! & WHAT MOTHAFUCKAS?????

SALVADOR "CHAVA" SANCHEZ THE GREATEST FEATHERWT. EVER.... & TOP 10 IF NOT 5 GREATEST BOXERS OF ALL TIME!!!

  • never thought id ssay itbut pep stood toooo stationary

  • he stood to stationary against the ropes for a little bit ,willie

  • Pep is a scientist of boxing. He used everything to get you and had so much skills

  • I like Willie pep style. Not pacman style

  • @MrPsychopath83 Willie Pep actually fought Sugar Ray Robinson in the amateurs. Sugar ray was 130 lbs at the time while Willie Pep was pushing 105 lbs. Sorry but Willie pep, by statistics, and by evidence in his technique, many boxing historians can agree tthat ol' papaleo could be placed higher then Sugar Ray .

  • @5:54 move bitchass ref!

  • DAMN I ALREADY LEFT A COMMENT HERE!!! HAHA FUCK IT AGAIN MY BOY CHAVA TAKING OUT BOTH OF THESE DUDES HAHAHA PROBABLY IN THE SAME NIGHT!!! SALVADOR SANCHEZ THE GREATEST...

  • if u watch this full fight its almost lik a fuckin street brawl

  • Willie knew sandy saddler was gonna tie him up and box him dirty so he learns judo to counter it...its pretty entertaining to watch to say the least

  • The only way saddler could hit him was to hold him first, disgraceful. I don't know what that is but it's not boxing.

  • Saddler was a tank for his size

  • what were they doing MMA? lol but Sandler won that...legggooooo

  • SANDY SADDLER==== DIRTIEST FIGHTER EVER TO WALK THE EARTH

  • サドラーの足、細すぎだ。

  • I WOULDVE LOVED TO SEEN BOTH OF THESE DUDES FIGHT "SALVADOR SANCHEZ".... SORRY TO SAY, BUT I WOULD HAVE TO GO WITH MY BOY SAL AGAINST BOTH OF'EM!!!!! HAHAHA REST.IN.PARADISE CHAMP!!!!!

  • Why is everyone on Pep's team. It looks like he quit in this fight. He got ruffed up! I know he was graceful and all but Saddler made him submit.

  • how does one measure levels of dirtiness?

  • top two greatest featherweights? not quite, it doesn't have the number one in, Henry armstrong... just sayin.

  • @jijforlife, Armstrong certainly WASN'T a greater Featherweight than either Pep / Saddler. A greater pound for pound fighter than the pair of them, for sure, but the bulk of his resume is at Welterweight. He's arguably at the low end of a top ten Featherweight list, but Pep and Saddler are a lock for the top two positions. Armstrong never defended the 'proper' FW title, let's not forget. Wins over Arizmendi, Belloise, Bass and Sarron show that he was great at 126 lb, but a level below these two.

  • According to youtube boxing 'expert' @iljn1988, George Dixon, Terry McGovern, Abe Attell, Johnny Kilbane, Johnny Dundee, etc. never existed.

  • @marcxopoco, not sure what the hell you're banging on about; I'm fully aware of those fighters, but they simply weren't as great at Featherweight as Pep or Saddler were. Kilbane made only four official title defences in eleven years, McGovern was a better Bantamweight than Featherweight (maybe the best of the lot, that's another story), Attell kept the title on ludicrous 'No Decisions' after having his ears boxed off by Moran and Driscoll, and Dixon, though great, can't match Pep or Saddler.

  • @iljn1988 reugurgitates the crap from the pathetic modern media boxing "experts" who keep their jobs by burping out the same tired talking points selling the designated politically correct more recent fighters.

Do you think no one knows you are a regurgitator of tired modern news media crap, iljn?

  • @marcxopoco, seeing as nobody else has told me this, then no would be my answer to your last question. If you can find a modern media outlet which has made the points I've just made, then by all means post it. Not sure what your problem is, otherwise. I'm talking boxing - can't you do the same instead of following me around?

  • @iljn1988 claims he is "talking boxing" when he does nothing but regurgitate the same tired trash of the modern bought and paid for 'boxing' media (ever hear of Don King and the money he spreads around?) whose tired mantra is that only more recent fighters are any good.

Poor iljn complains bitterly when anyone calls him on his tired repetition of the modern media line.

    TRASH THE OLDER FIGHTERS

    SELL THE MORE RECENT FIGHTERS

    That's the ticket--isn't it iljn.

  • @marcxopoco, can only assume you're getting me mixed up with someone else, as I've repeatedly said that most of the fighters who I consider to be top 25-30 of all time fought before or during the Second World War. When have I "trashed" old fighters? I don't think that Mayweather, Pacquiao or Roy Jones Jr are fit to lace the boots of Fitzsimmons, Benny Leonard or Barbados Joe Walcott, so once more, whatever you're talking about / accusing me of is anyone's guess.

  • @iljn1988 One reason is Pep won 230 fights the record in pro boxing. This fight took place after Pep was one of 3 survivors of a plane crash, most of the passengers were dead. He pent five months in a body cast, turned down a half million dollar settlement, because he could never box again. The money was for loss of livelyhood

He was 75 and 0.at the time, he went on to fight 177 more fights winning most. His skills in his prime are the best in boxing history. So it's just about this fight

  • @13seven13, I know all that about Pep. Can you just clear something up for me - why did you post that comment to me? What discussion are you getting in on? Thanks.

  • sadler might of beat pep 3 times.....

but pep resume is ten times better then sadler

  • Mike Tyson learned his arm twisting technique when in the holding position from this man right here Sandy "Dirtiest fighter ever" Saddler.

  • Guglielmo Papaleo was his name! He had Italian blood in his veins and he was GOAT! RIP fratello!

  • Willie Pep knew Judo AND Boxing? Captain America status.

  • It looks like Pep is on ice skates...

  • Say what you will about his tactics, but Saddler owned Pep. Nobody was able to hit him as often or beat him up as badly as Saddler did--multiple times.

  • Saddler was like........retarded or something. I mean he kept pushing the ref down and outta the way and everything.

  • god its like someone cant have an opinion on utube nowadays without some wanabe hardman turing up as the knower of all

  • @sugarnadf nobody is trying to be a hardman or a tough guy. you just sound utterly ridiculous saying that willie peps tactics were subtle, if they were so subtle then how are you able to identify what his true motives were?? hypocrisy at its finest.

  • @vdentjr- n wat r u on about with motives seriously? that has nothing to do with anything,he was subtle at being dirty in some of the things he done NOT EVERYTHING,some people wud pick up all the little thing n some would maybe not, with saddler its pretty obvious n yes when someone cant accept somones opinion without name calling thats a internet tough guy...ie YOU. hence y i cant b bothered with a discussion cos ofcourse u r always right ;) have fun makin assuption n then arguing with them

  • willie pep will be killed by pacman when i saw this fight,..

  • @khaineification yea, checked your profile and saw that your phillipino. you probably heard about willie pep arguing with a non pactard about the many fighters that would've whooped pacs ass. because lets face it, you pactards dont know a single solitary thing about boxing outside of your hometown hero.

  • @vdentjr with due respect i think boxing of the past is too overrated. just because they have tons in volume of matches that people think they are that great.dont get me wrong i do think sugar ray is a beast with both power and skills. willie pep also has boxing skills and toughness.but all are just human.i dont think they wont bent down if they get hit solid in the jaw.im just saying i wouldnt count out pacquiao going against the likes of duran or leonard but robinson is an exception.

  • Willie Pep who is that? Any official boxing source has Sugar Ray Robinson as the greatest boxer of all time pound for pound,

  • wow what a dirty fight

  • 230-11-1 (65 KOs) do i need to say more........

  • chickenlegs

  • At 5:56 SS pushes the ref out of the way thats some funny ish.

  • lol sandy saddler so dirty he knocked down the ref! he makes hopkins look like mr clean

  • @sugarnadf thats weird . . . i saw TWO fighters fouling, but pep was really dirty in this fight. he was thumbing, using the glove laces on the heel and using judo throws. when the ref went down, it was the result of pep trying to trip sadler

  • @MeesterChum -pep wasnt exactly clean i just meant that saddler took it to another level and was so blatant while others like pep do little tricky things once in awhile

  • @sugarnadf:

The only difference between Pep's dirty fighting and Saddler's is that Pep was forgiven for it.

  • @tw69hands2 -i actually think pep did in a less obvious way thats y he got away with it,plus people who use ther heads seem to get noticed most..like hopkins.also i think people consider use of heads much more dangerous becos of cuts, and even ko's caused by them

  • @sugarnadf "less obvious"??? lmao! willie pep is an ATG and one of my favorite fighters, but get fucking real man! what the hell is so subtle about applying judo tactics in a boxing match? both of these guys were blatantly dirty this fight, and for you to say saddler was dirtier is just plain stupid.

  • @vdentjr -iv seen him trip up fighters, spin them n other things without anybody complaining or the ref noticing..i wud say its more subtle than diving in with ur head and holding n hitting infront of the ref n also less dangerous!!i didnt say what he did was right or wrong its my opinion on y people dont call him dirty as often as saddler, there must b a reason for saddler being known as really dirty.. cos he was the worst n most obvious!!

jus cos u dnt agree with something doesnt make it stupid

  • @sugarnadf that makes no sense what so ever, seriously man just listen to yourself. you're really gonna tell me that willie peps clear as day dirty tactics are acceptable simply because the ref let him get away with it?? what the hell kind of sense does that make? either you're the most naiive person on the planet or your just too much of a pep fan to face facts. i dont care what the refs let him got away with, his tactics were still dirty and unacceptable. you can accept that for some reason.

  • @vdentjr- did i defend peps tactics..no i did not. read carfefully -im saying that he DOESNT GET NOTICED as being dirty as much as saddler. n im not talkin just about this fight im talkin from other fights ive seen aswell. ur making up ur own conclusions to things i never even said so ur infact being ridiculous n looking for arguments, i never once said that being dirty was ok or acceptable for any fighter...stop making assumtions and arguments based on things u urself brought up or mentioned

  • why do people always mention records as a reason these old time fighters are greater than todays, maybe u should asky yourself how many of the fighters they fought have u ever heard of never mind seen decent footage off.u have to combine what u c,with record and opponents to b a fair analyst not jus a list.

anyway only thing willie pep lacked was good punch if he did he would b scary, other than that he was one of the greats imo.

  • I'm quite sure willie pep is in the top 10 of all time boxers in my book...ring experience (unofficial) total fights meen a lot.

  • これが本当のケンカマッチ近藤マッチ、フフフ、外人は何を言ってるのか分かるまい

  • hmm nice judo moves come to think of it they should allow judo style takedowns would be more fun

  • @haris000000 that's one of the best ideas ever, I think back in the old days during bareknuckle matches, that trips and takedowns were allowed but "frowned upon" or something like that. too bad some of the old rules didn't carry on into modern boxing

  • @temperex true true

  • Pacquiao will do this to Mayweather

  • Saddlers a bit dirty

  • @deltorso Assuming you want me to elaborate: Never mind the number of fights. Willie Pep does not occupy the same place in people's minds as Louis or Ali or Marciano. Do you agree? This is what I meant.

  • lol at 5.54 saddler pushes ref away

  • my father told me about this fight , he said it was the dirtiest fight ever, now that i see it, i think he was right..... willie pep and sandy saddler two all time great fighters makes this a must see , thanks for the post.

  • Im waiting for some moron Filipino Pactard to come in and rant about Manny Pediao being the greatest ever. Fuckin fraud.

  • Lol.. So true mate..

  • @aaronomg this is where boxing of today is being underrated just because boxing in the old days brings a lot of fights.. this is where people tend to view greatness based on number of wins with just few solid oppositions considered as icing on a cake.. there will never be a boxer of today that can be rated as high as top 5 all time great..its impossible to accumulate wins just like how these old boxers have..

  • @aaronomg thats why we have a lot of UPSETS because people have the mentality just like you have...

  • You see Saddler trying to hyperextend Pep's elbow. The fights of the fifties are where modern day fighters learn the dirty tricks of the boxing game. Also both these fighters are the prototypes that the boxers are today with the lateral movement and the boxing on the move.

  • Beautiful movement by Willie Pep. Saddler great fighter! Two of the the greatest Feathers of all time!

  • pep was a fucking beast...defensive beast

  • Sanchez WAS great! RIP, but why rip these boxers - I enjoyed the wrestling ...er, I mean boxing match,,,

  • salvador sanchez wouldve beat the shit out of these two overrated piece of shit boxers on the same night!

  • What do you mean... "shit boxers"? Why deface a deceased person who had the Noble Art of Boxing at his fingertips? Ever put on gloves yourself? You don't seem to see a fraction of what was happening, I guess. Go back to your couch and keep on nibbling those crunchies!

  • lol stupid mexican rat

  • wow, referees weren't very good back then.

  • Saddler was so dirty. If he was fighting today he would have been DQ numerous times.

  • @Doderhultarn89:

So would Pep and a bunch of other boxers from that era. The referees let a lot of dirty boxing take place. It was a different era. Plus, when Saddler would hit low, the press called him dirty. When Pep would heel or thumb, he'd be called 'creative.'

  • @Doderhultarn89 Didn't Pep loose a round for "foul tactics"? How is Saddler the dirty fighter? That is meant as no disrespect to Willie Pep who is one of the greatest of all time. However you and the 7 guys who apparently agree with you are wrong.

  • @Jossy2777 saddler was one of the dirtiest fighters of all time. pep could be dirty at times but not on the same level saddler was.

  • @Doderhultarn89 pep was just as dirty as sadler was.

  • @LordTariq83 no.... sadler was a lot dirtier then pep

  • @fireking9934 it matters not tho..some of the greatest fighters were dirty fighters...harry greb jack dempsey etc......whther he used dirty tactics or not saddler still proved that head to head he was a better fighter than pep was

  • @Doderhultarn89 Saddler was only dirty when he felt his opponent was fighting dirty.

You want to see dirty, check out Harry Greb, Fritizie Zivik, Johnny ( fake a low blow ) Ruiz or Evander ( the headbutt ) Holyfield.

  • a lot of fighters especially back then only did it to make some money willy pep turned down 500,000 in the 40's after a plane crash to box on for 19 years more, 241 fights 229 wins. i think he perhaps enjoyed the sport lol, he was damn good at it thats for sure rip willie.

  • For me Willie Pep is the Boxer #1. He did not leave a legacy as formidable as Ali or Louis or Tyson or Marciano but in terms of pure skill he, I believe, was superior even to those great champions.

  • i dont agree, but peps definately up there imo. i think whitaker mustve watched pep tapes

  • @beargrizly67 Began 62-0-0 , lost 1, went 73-0-1. That's all the legacy I need.

  • @beargrizly67 not a good legacy???? 240 fights????? lol

  • @mikespikeforlife I think you should read what I wrote once more. _)))) Respectfully, an old grizzly bear.

  • @beargrizly67 I did read what you wrote lol. U said he didnt have a legacy as formidable as Ali or Louis or tyson... TYSON? Are you on smack? The gut had 241 fights with 10 losses loool. 230 victories! The guy had a better legacy than all those 3 u mentioned put together.

  • @beargrizly67 WRONG.

  • @beargrizly67 He won more fights than anybody and you question his legacy? You're on dope!

  • @beargrizly67 i agree, I reckon he was a pure genius at hitting and not ( often ) getting hit.

  • @beargrizly67 so how come saddler dominated him?

  • @beargrizly67 what about Robinson?

  • @beargrizly67 Robinson and Pep are two of my many favourite fighters of all time.

  • Pep really did have the greatest feet of all time

  • I'm looking at this and saying WOW!!! Pep was real smooth!! Sandler was Huge. As far as dirty they BOTH were. Pep tripping, healing, thumbs, etc. Sandler hitting behind the head, plus the above. So they both were dirty. Willie was just trying to beat Sandler off him. That body shot paralyzed willie's left leg. look at the replay. Much, much respect for these legends.

  • saddler's super dirty in this fight. That's a bullshit decision. But, I now get all the hype about pep, even in this loss.

  • I agree, one has to actually watch the magnificent footwork and exceptional defense--plus excellent punching technique--to understand just how great Pep was as a boxer. His footwork is amazing, just absolutely flawless and a pleasure to watch. A pure stylist; indeed, the greatest boxing stylist ever.

  • Pep's my great uncle

  • Sandy too big , too tall, too strong, he would have beaten pep on his best day.

  • willie peps left hook at 2:57 is amazing

  • Damn, Saddler even shoved the referee.

  • Saddler looks about twice the size of Pep.

  • saddlers' gotta be the dirtiest fighter to ever put on the gloves

  • u do realize, pep was past his peak when he fought saddler, u all do realise that dont you?, it was after the plane crash that nearly killed him, prime for prime pep would of took all 4 bouts

  • Some years ago I knew Sandy's daughter Denise pretty well. I don't really know much about boxing. It is amazing to me that her dad was a world Champion with such skill, such talent. Thanks for posting this!!!

  • Do you know if Sandy Saddler is still alive? There is alot about Sandy in the classic book "The Sweet Science" by A.J. Lieberling.

  • Unfortunately he died around 9/11/2001 so he didn't even get too much press because of what was happening in the country.

  • Sad to learn that he is gone. The book "The Sweet Science" written by A.J. Liebling has alot about Sandy. It would be fascinating to hear Sandy's daughter's recollections about her dad.

  • Beautiful Willie! Lightning fast, clever, great footwork. Sadler too strong but on points I would have given it to Willie. Every lightweight should watch his fight

to learn the Art & Science of boxing. (Some Judo too!)

  • saddler won by ko in 3 out of 4 fights with willie pep

  • Even while losing, Pep was still beautiful to watch.

  • Saddler was a great fighter, not question about that. However, I think really Pep was better. Don't forget, he nearly got killed in a plane crash, and it was amazing from the injuries I believe he sustained that he came back to box at all. I think that the Pep of 25 years of age would have beaten Sandy at his best. Some consider Pep, the greatest featherweight champ of all time.

  • Willie Pep was a true and rare legend, but Saddler was just too strong and tough and hard for him. Saddler is the only man who clearly displayed ascendancy over the magical Pep. Let us revere them both. No doubt they are up there in heaven this very moment, slugging it out, for Willie would sooner roast in Hell than admit Saddler was the better man. What heroes they were!

  • Pep really was ahead of his time....I'd love to see him fight Pacqiuao

  • Rockaway, my friend, Pep would play with him. Honestly, Pep was a force of nature: a genius; a man of such guts you can barely believe. His boxing skills were of the highest order, and he could hit when the mood took him. Only Sandy ever dominated him, and Sandy was CLASS!

  • Hello, Rockaway; it's me again. As you watch this fight please bear in mind that Saddler was a murderous puncher and a tall, rangy, awkward opponent, so Willie had to use all his enormous cunning to keep out of danger and yet score points. Quite a feat, really. Hell, I wish there were fighters like these two, these days.

  • as much as I like Pep, I'd have to go with Pacquiao.

  • no way, pep would beat him he was just TOO good

  • Pep was a half century ahead of his time, he could have been a mixed martial artist

  • unknown TO MOST PEP STUDIED JU-JITSU HE LEARNED TO FIGHT AT THE Y THAT WAS TEACHING BOXING AND GRAPPLING

  • Would have loved to see Willie Pep fight Pernell Whitaker, about 5 shots would be landed in 12 rounds xD

  • has anybody got the fight where WILLIE PEPP overcomes all the odds and beats SADDLER ive seen it ounce before but it seems very hard to get or i hope its just my bad p.c skills and its outthere,

  • No, its hard to find the whole fight. I don't even think there is footage of their first meeting.

  • It doesn't exist.

  • its near imposible to get but it excists alright.

  • I've spoken to some of the most learned and educated traders in the world, and aside from clips of it, the entire fight does not exist in its entirety.

  • Nobody has part 3.....this was a dirty fight. Sandy was a killer puncher. Pep was the greatest defensive fighter of All time.

  • Malignaggi is the new Great italian Fighta.. Watch out for him, and dont underestimate.

  • he's good, but Cotto already whooped him

  • well, cotto didnt exactly whoop him.. cotto said he was his hardest fight..

  • Cotto broke Paulie's right cheek bone, knocked him down in the second, and opened up a cut above his eye en route to a UD. Cotto whooped him.

  • Not a bad match. Would be interesting to see this match happening under mma rules.

  • R.I.P My Great Uncle...To Bad I didnt Continue Boxing

  • A lot of insecure people who can't resist talking about race. Truth is - notions of black and white are far more complex and flawed than you could imagine. The fact that people are arguing over the "blackness" of Miguel Cotto proves it.

  • @tehmode UMM Hispanics are kinda the shit at boxing too and were the middle man in color since we have everything from black to white. There, problem solved lol

  • RIP Willie Pep

  • whats with all the cops at the end?

  • You want to talk about riots? How many ignorant crackas start riots at those damn soccer games. They're called hooligans for a reason, so stop bringing up the race card you ignorant shit. Get an education and shut you hole.

  • crackas? jacobs cream or mcvities?

i like mine with margarine and grated cheese.

  • there wasn't a riot after in the Holyfield fight it was security getting Tyson's people out of the ring. Also when it comes to riots what about when Haglar won the middleweight title. The British fans threw full beer bottles in the ring at the new champ and his people. Get some perspective jackass.

  • well i think that their is a lot of negtiveness about white boxers, black people are better at basketball, but white people are still boxers. and as white i don't men english or american, i just mean white

but no one beats the italian boxers

  • when was the last Italian who was a pound for pound fighter?Thats what I thought! In the realm of the ten best fighters of all time the only one that deserves to be in there is Willy Pep. The rest are black you moron.

  • the only reason why black people get to the top is because they're all in america already. give europeans in america a chance, then you get people like carnera and pep.

  • CARNERA!!!!!! LOL He was a fucking JOKE!!! check his fight with Max Bear, ull see what a joke he was....boy i hate commenting on stupid comments,

LOL carnera, that gave me a good laugh

  • dude what's your problem. me and branch up there are having a conversation, why do you but in. mind your own

  • Ring Magazine's top p4p of all time 1. Sugar Ray Robinson 2. Henry Armstrong 3. Muhammad Ali 4. Joe Louis 5. Roberto Duran - not blick 6. Willie Pep - not blick 7. Harry Greb - not blick 8. • He's Puerto Rican you idiot...

  • paulie's italian.

  • I was talking about Cotto. I know my post showed up over someones post about Paulie being a great Italian fighter but I was responding to someone else. I wish they would fix that about youtube, posts popping up any where like that.

  • hell yeah!!

  • what the hell, white fans still support there own, when was the last there was a riot??? your shut ur gay racist ass up, shouldnt you be sewing your klan outfit or fucking your sister ?

  • Pep was 5'5

  • how tall was willie pep does anybody know?????

  • he was my currents trainers, trainer. he's record is amazing.

    R.I.P

  • Pep was a helluva a warrior man. He just was basically too short for the division. He shoulda been a bantamweight for as long as possible and then quit. Sandy was just too big, tall and strong for Pep. Which is why Pep was frustrated and fought dirty to do whatever he could to nullify Sandy. YOu really cant blame him. What else could he do? Guys back then had to fight way too many fights just to get somewhere in a sport that was more crooked than a barrel of snakes.

  • put up the second fight

  • Robinson, the greatest all time. Dont judge by his second career. thats most of the footage out there, fights that were great because he was past his prime. In his prime no one can match him

  • Sandy Saddler best Willie Pep in the end of their rivalry. That's all that needs to be said about Pep. Oh! and Robinson will and forever be the best boxer who ever lived.

  • u got the tied and losses backwards. He lost 11 times.

  • Pep's record is incredible 229-1-11 (65 KOs) over 26 years!!! He lived to aged 84 too!!

He lost 3-1 to Saddler who had 103 KOs in 163 fights. He died aged 70.

  • Add middleweight champ Mickey Walker to the mix for great p4p guys. He used to KO guys 2-3 stones heavier than himself. He fought the likes of Schmeling, Sharkey, Flowers, Greb, Rosenbloom, Loughran. 60 KOs in 163 fights.

  • Pep was the greatest P4P fighter ever. If he didn't want you to hit him, you weren't gonna hit him.
