  • Top marks to Hornby for their promotions, just look at the faces on those youngsters as they take pictures of the model railway,it says it all ! after returning to the hobby after many years I am amazed at the technical developments,DCC is the tops and brought a whole new insight into operating a layout.

  • WOW!

I was born and raised in the USA. (Boston, Massachusetts).

I have a FEW European Trains.....but mostly American.

When my income allows.....I will visit and attend a Model Train Show if the timing allows on a trip to England.

I want to experience a different location. AND, buy a European Train or two. ;-)

    Cheers!

  • @Modeltrainguy

i must say the european trains you refer to are far more exciting than the american lionel sets,

  • @Modeltrainguy - I would classify Hornby trains as British as distinct from European. Different scale, different couplers...

Hey Hornby, thanks for putting on such an inpressive Roadshow stand at Ally Pally this year! I really enjoyed it!

  • If that's really you. From where you were standing you looked identical to me at 1:28 to 1:31 :P I know it isn't me though because when I was there I had a different camera lol

  • Hey, I'm the guy with the camera and the scruffy hair from 1:28 to 1:31 at the far-right of the screen! The video I was recording is in the 'related videos' box titled 'Alexandra Palace Hornby Roadshow 2009' (by rapljwop).

Thanks for including me in the video! Thanks for also delivering my certificate for the Class 50 'Sir Edward Elgar' loco I bought that day!
