@Dameon7560 It sounds like you've had a lot of hurt in your life. Talk to a friend. Theres never a point no matter how bad you feel where it's too late. Make sure you tell your stepdad that you're there for him. Make him know that he'll be ok. life doesn't have to be as depressing as we perceive it. The good Lord watches over us every day and if you ask him for help, he'll respond. Don't give up. Just keep looking for beauty in negative spaces

I'd recommend that you focus on maintaining a job, a form of transportation, and look into counseling from a local college or university (rates can be ridiculously low - like $10 or less per session). Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can be very helpful for PTSD, depression, and related issues. It'll help to teach you new coping skills so you can have a more positive life. It's not perfect, but it has good results.

In high school I joined the wrestling team, and broke my hand before the season. I finally got to wrestle the last five matches (I think in 3 tournaments). It was very popular for peoples parents to come to matches, so I finally persuaded my mom to come to my second last one, which I lost like the previous 3. I begged her to stay for my final match, but she refused. I'll never forget standing out in the dark of night crying my eyes out after I'd lost that final match, that final chance.
when i was in elementary school all my teachers thought i was dumb cause when they ask me a question i didnt answer. i was shy and scared, instead of helping me everyone gave me the answers to all my work all my tests i didnt even try to learn anything from school till i was in grade 9

For years my dad put me down. I was never good enough for him. No matter what I did, I failed him. I grew to hate myself. Finally I'd had enough and quit going to see him. A lot of people don't believe in me. I know that I shouldn't listen to them but theres just something about hearing it from family or friends that makes me cry. I have been the only one to believe in myself ever since I was little. Now things are starting to change and I thank God for that. I know I wouldn't have any friends who believe in me without his help.

I've always had someone there to believe in me, and I'm thankful cause just by them believing in me taught me to believe in others. Even if their strangers. Anything is possible.

We need to stop being so touchy-feely with people. If I have to have learn about Wiccans and so on then I want to be able to say the Pledge of Allegiance in my school. It isn't whether or not you believe in god or a god or many gods. It's about being united under the same flag and being proud of our country and knowing that even though things get bad they can only get worse so we have to pull together and stop fighting over the one thing that makes us all alike in this country: Being Americans.

@x3MiSSMiNNDAA Sometimes it takes having no one believing in you to accomplish the impossible. Instead of taking someone's hurtful words or actions in a way that brings you down, take them in a way that lifts you up. Don't look at it as nobody believing in you, look at it as the chance to prove everybody wrong. We all know that feels good ;)

i can stand that the pledge of allegiance being tackin out of school or my god i cant go in my school. and tell ppl how great god is some ppl and i are going to march to the townhall with sings of what would god do. and things like that i fear that the usa well lost god for go but the ppl that need him well be the ones who well have god for the rest of there day as well I.

You know it's so sad how people just give up on others. Especially when they're your own family memebers. It's sad how the dad doesn't believe in his son. And when the son doesn't believe his father can drive that makes me sad. And how would any of you feel if God just stopped believing in us and looked the other way because no one believes in him. (Not trying to make a religous comment I respect everyones religon just talking about the song.) Great song with a lot of truth.

For years my dad put me down. I was never good enough for him. No matter what I did, I failed him. I grew to hate myself. Finally I'd had enough and quit going to see him. It's been a while since I've seen him but I can still hear the things he said to me and its still impossible for me to believe in myself.

A lot of people don't believe in me. I know that I shouldn't listen to them but theres just something about hearing it from family or friends that makes me cry. I have been the only one to believe in myself ever since I was little. Now things are starting to change and I thank God for that. I know I wouldn't have any friends who believe in me without his help.
