Satellite GTX and Road Runner are all one and the same . aint nothin from one of those car's that won't bolt on the other . The difference was the luxuries or options available and which ones were stock. The RR was a Bare Bones version of the GTX . It was cheaper to build and to sell as a High performance Spartan interior car with less chrome trim.
dude that car is put together EXACTLY how I want to do it if I ever manage to get a 70 Roadrunner, right down to the skinny tires coarse I'd rather like to get the bowl caps ... I dunno why but I just think they're bitchin lol
Hell you bad ass video and one hell of a sharp 69 Roadrunner. I love around .47 or .49 into the video were it shows the burnout and take off and the rear leaf springs jumps down about 6 inches and all is hooked to the road. Only problem is i'm sure that in 69 they came with round not square door mirrors. Might be wrong here dosen't change the fact the car still has it,
The Mopar mid size B body cars: Roadrunner, GTX, Charger and Satellite with the 440 or 426 Hemi with 6 pack or dual quads left everything in the dust. They made corvettes look like lawnmowers and Porsches look like baby strollers.

The only thing that's nice in this video is the road. The car is junk. Handles and accelerates like a sewage truck full of the soup they pumped out from my septic tank. Just crush this old bucket and get something with real speed. The music is disgusting and has NO class whatsoever.
hey wich tranny you runnin thAt im gonna be restoring a 70 roadrunner and my plan is to build a 543 was just curious if you have the 18 spline or the 23 check my video out my fury 65 fury i restored
i would say you dont know how lucky you are. than agin with a display like this you clearly do. WOW a little shakey but WOW you cauaght the essence of that car like no one elts could. :)

nice i like the old 69's. my dad has 1, 1969 roadrunner 383ci 4spd manual. it needs some work but it sounds great.

enjoy it in good health. Atleast you own a "real" car. not a recycled plastic soda bottle they make nowadays.

GTX's rule. The best I've ever seen is a black 68 survivor with red accent stripes. Just awesome!
realdeadendcruiser 4 years ago
@realdeadendcruiser They're cool but i'd rather have my Roadrunner. Just alot cooler and the foundation for the A12's and Super bird.
