  • you big fat liar

  • Biggest difference between french and italian bread is the moisture used in the make up process of the dough. French will typically eyeball anywhere between 60% and 65% hydration (water) where the italians will use different types of liquids i.e. sometimes milk but usually water. Gives a completely different texture especially when cooked and also depending on the style of bread being made, it'll interact with the yeast different.

  • under just the boiler? shouldnt you prehead the oven to 350 or so THEN fire the boiler? you'll have a raw bottom and a burnt top otherwise...just sayin.

  • This is why US americans are fat. Don't worry Australia (my country) is fat also. BTW, do you americans have butter in a bucket in, like, every supermarket or what? 6:31

  • @greeniegogo Yes, America's grocery stores do sell products in ways and quantities that allow us to not have to pick shit up every 3 days.

  • @Meatbagz Good point. But if you eat a 375g tub of butter every 3 days, I'd be a bit worried.

  • if you cook the english muffins in the oven for a few minutes, before putting on toppings, then put on the toppings, then cook it again, the english muffins will be crispier and no so soggy. just a tip for crispier bread.

  • Just made the pizza! It is delicious(: But instead of putting peperoni i put turkey(:

Jack - is Country Crock butter or a spredable margerine ?

  • how much is a bottle

  • This is awesome!! I made my own version of garlic bread because my mom was using the oven and I dint have the fancy bread. First I took regular toast/sandwich bread popped it into the toaster, after that I buttered it then put some garlic power on it cut it in half it was great! I didn’t know that garlic bread was so simple and in expensive! Thanks

    Kylie, 14

  • love your videos jack! keep it up!

  • on the garlic bread you can save some money by using garlic salt and butter put the butter on and lightly spread the garlic salt pop em on the grill and it tastes the same

  • 4:10

    Get your rape face on

  • @jakatak69 if you're doing this again you should try to put the pepperoni/salami/whatever you use BELOW the cheese instead of above it, that will make the Cheese melt over that stuff , making it look a lot more italian and giving you lower risk of the stuff falling off :)

  • could we change the muffin with a bagel

  • @AngieGirl9080 then theyre called pizza bagels ;D

  • @AngieGirl9080 then theyre called pizza bagels ;D

  • jack rubbed it in thumbs up if im correct

  • man u know why i love your show ?

it describe us "heavy eaters" ... lazy & want things good

and it's not like the "BOOORING" cooking shows

thnx man i love your show =D

  • @anterlic I try to be realistic. The cooking shows are stuff we will never make.

  • Jack, be my guest and use the infomation from my previous posting to share with everyone. I found out about the additive from a chef on the food channel.

  • FYI, never buy cheese that is shredded. The food companies spray the cheese with an agent that keeps it from sticking together. Buy it whole and shred it yourself it's healthier, plus its cheaper.

  • @Funskier67 very interesting. May I use this on a future episode?

  • @jakatak69 Thanks for the reply, and yes you may use this information in the future. I found this information out on the Food Channel from a chef that discussed how food companies spray the cheese so it wont stick to itself in the bag, even if it gets above room temperature (yuck). The chef recommended to buy cheese in a block and shred it yourself. The benefits were lower cost and better melting and texture. Love your show!

  • @Funskier67 Where I'm from, shredded cheese is actually cheaper...probably cause it's not as good quality.

  • Gee jack.. thanks for not rubbing it in...

  • thanks for not rubbing it in jack.

  • damn, this made me realize how burnt and charred i like my pizza lol.

  • heres a beter way. get a wide pan, put batter in it and spread it till it hits the edges of the pan. after that spread some tomato sauce over it and put youre favourate cheese.then put whatever kind of meat or vegetables and put it in the oven for 200-250 degrees till you think its done in the oven. its really easy.my mom teached me how to do it a long time ago and ive been doing it ever since.

  • i always watch this when im supper hungry, and i really want to drive to the store and get some then i realize im on a diet :(

  • @TheFunnycoolchix yes you can. very good on bagels.

  • Hi Jack,

    Enjoyed the show!

    Jeff Baker

  • I love the colors in your kitchen! It is so bright it looks like a cartoon.

  • the major difference between french and italian bread is the crust consistency and the saltyness of the inside, french crispy and salty and italian is soft and slightly sweet. if you cant taste the difference choose a different bakery

  • Comment removed

  • @monsterjam56 i feel bad for whoever had to raise your dumbass. DO NOT compare food based on what you get at wal mart

  • LOL!!! I so want to make english muffin pizzas!

  • dude ur killing us!! lol

  • if i can remember right i believe french bread is made with water and italian is with milk or vice versa

  • 3:50 - 4:20

Proof that Jack is one of the funniest guys on YouTube xD

  • pedo look! 4:10 !

  • the pizza looks delicious cant wait to try it

    thanx man

  • I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS ON MY 7 BIRTHDAY

  • This speaks to me.

  • slap cheese on that garlic bread, yo!

  • thanks for not rubbing it in and then offering to give us a bite

  • thumbs up if you tried biting that pizza on your screen when he said "you want a bite?"

  • Nice I'm going to try the English Muffins. I usually use canned biscuits and smash them down.

  • you should have used lazy mans bread for your lazy mans pizza

  • the olive oil in the italian bread is the difference between italian and french bred ;)

  • Add to idea for this recipie:

Our Lazy Ppl Pita Pizza(say that 5 xs fast!)

( we actually do this at our home)

What you do is to take your pita, smooth on your sauce(lower fat/cals =tomato paste+Mrs.Dash Garlic&Mrs.Dash Italian), then place basil leaves, sliced smoked mozzarella, and some sliced tomatoes. We like to drizzle Olive Oil, and crack some pepper on top after baking@375* for about 7-15 mins depending on your oven. You can grill these as well, great usage of grilled veggies huh!

    <3 Us

  • italian bread is more flufy, and have more holes in it. Sometimes its grey bread. Frech bread is always white, and the texture is smother and tighter.. thats what my grandmother learnd me.

  • heres another way to get lazy mans garlic bread. Order jack to send ssome to you in the mail

  • I bet the garlic made with the Lazy Man's Bread would be great. Thanks for the show. I love them.

    Nancy

  • fyi, i saw in america's test kitchen magazine that they suggest putting pizza on the top level because the air circulation is best for crisping and cooking fully without still being too doughy inside. of course that's pizza from scratch, so that's why it's fyi. not what you did here. nice vid. keep it up. thanks.

  • sir, please shave! I get distracted by your half beard while you're doing your show. :(

  • Killing us? Starving? I usually watch this show while cooking :D

  • 17 people got aids

  • the difference between the breads is that french bread-thougher, more doughy, the makers let the dough rise alot longer, harder to chew in my opinion.....italian- lighter, fluffier, airier, crunchier :)

  • can you use garlic salt?

  • @MrDeatheater999 try granulated garlic instead. stay away from salt unless you really need it for flavor.

  • I just had my dinner and i'm completely full, but now you made me hungry!

thumbs up if you had the same experience xD

  • you never exactly said what kind of sauce that is

  • @lomainlover1 either use pizza sauce or just spaghetti sauce.

  • My wife and I have been doing a similar pizza for a long time, but we use pitas instead of english muffins, and a sprinkle of oregano before you throw it in the oven really makes the difference. I never thought of doing it with english muffins before, I wonder how it would taste... I'll have to give it a try.

  • thats the biggest bucket of butter i ever saw, wtf!

  • For the pizza, I use pita bread instead of english muffins so it's like a thin crust pizza. Spinach and mushrooms are hella good to with it lol

  • you lied

  • death to margerine!!! lmao

  • ur funny.......

  • hey men i hate you its 2:01 am and you make me hungry with the pizza :)

  • hey men i hate you its 2:01 am and you make me hungry with the pizza :)

  • omfg that bread looks so gooooooood

  • Just some suggestions on the garlic bread, you don't HAVE to use French/Italian bread. You can just use sandwich bread. And also, you can just pop it in the toaster, saves time. :D

  • Omg I love you :) lol. This looks so good.

  • lol the tomato sauce you got ripped off XD

  • for an extra treat, make the the garlic bread with pot-butter! That way, everyone will love your dish,no matter what! lolol

  • Hey Jack I have watched a lot of ur videos and I think that you should post a seafood video because me personally I love it

    Ps: big fan :)

  • Try and toast the english muffins first. If just under the broiler for a minute. That way the base won't get as soggy as it cooks.

  • your minced garlic is dry like flakes? in Australia the minced garlic i know comes in a jar you store in the fridge and its a wet ingredient with the "juice" in it, i think it would work well. i just put some in a small amount of butter and spread it on hot bread. ^^ its wayyy quick garlic bread, anyways, enjoyed it even tho i am like 4mnts late. :/

  • you totally rubbed it in !! lol and french bread in hard!!

  • you totally rubbed it in !! lol

  • You got bigsized everything! DAMN THAT'S A LOT OF BUTTER...

  • So is sugar a seasoning?

  • @trying2killsometime good question. It depends how you use it. Onion and Garlic are not seasoning. They are vegetables. But we call them seasoning.

  • @jakatak69

So seasoning is spice in general or the stuff that is dried and maybe cut like onion, garlic, all the green stuff like basil and oregano or is it all of that ... everything that you use to "flavour" your food?

  • @MeinBart correct.

  • @trying2killsometime as teached to german cooks, sugar is a seasoning. And its more versatile than most people can imagine. For example, almost every vegetable dishs taste can be enhanced with a little bit of sugar.

Not enough to make it sweet, just a pinch of sugar. Sugar is, as salt, a taste enhancer.

  • come on! costco pizza is hecka good!

  • the difference is the yeast as the French bread is liter inside.

  • yuck!,That's not Pizza! Redo video and Make Real dough! The difference between French and Italian is mostly the shape, maybe slight difference in liquid amount in dough.

  • those have more sauce than papa johns, pizza hut etc

  • hey jack this is a response to your question about the bread The difference comes in the shape of the breads. Italian breads tend to be a more oval loaf, long and fat. Classic French breads tend to be long and skinny

  • Do you always eat the food youve made after the episode?

  • @SuperSexyCyberPizza Yes. Unless it's dessert then I send it to my wife's work.

  • waste of money! but...i bought it =D

  • that's one frickin huge bucket of butter man!

  • 4:10 man.. that was cold! but funny!!! lol

  • They both are the exact same bread but italian is cooked/baked with herbs and spices like basil and parsley french is made with oregano and different ones they look the same maybe a little different cause the herbs decide how it bakes but the original one made was the italian bread

  • Hi jack im 14 and im from Croatia so there is a lot of stuff i don't know where to get or how to make (mostly there is no buying option xD ) ..... expect mail.

  • one thing i gotta tell you is that i just got married and i'm a beginner at cooking...your videos are helping me alot thanks! keep poosting more videos!<3

  • NOOUU! Not the slowmo! XD

  • i am pretty shure italian bread is thinner width wise than french bread

  • haha i love your way of cooking it's easy & delicious!!

  • Thanks jack! the whole family loves them

  • Italian bread is from Italy, French bread is from France. Come on man, you should know this, LOL. JK, :)

  • @bwayne641 very funny. Your killing me!! LOLOL

  • @jakatak69 its soo good i do that all the time after skool

  • @jakatak69 and i just broil it

  • @jakatak69 Italian Bread contains more Olive Oil, French Bread does not. This is what makes Italian bread supposedly more 'luxurious'

  • i cant make this, im too lazy to even use the microwave -_-

  • The difference between french bread and italian bread is french bread is much hardder on the crust.
