Not really forward but more so then straight up and down, one foot slightly infront with weight slightly on that front foot. But use both hands and slightly bend the elbows and understand the strength you need after you pull the trigger to keep the gun from hitting your head (literally) and also, the first time you try it, try only 1 bullet in the 6 cylinders. Reason in next msg...

Really I was risking my gun being damaged by continuing, but it was fun. But even without such defectively hot loads, even regular loads same double tap could happen with a woman, so shoot your first bullet as a single bullet in the cylinder. But with 2 hands you should not damage your wrists and you should not get hurt. They also make a "44 special " load you can start with, less power.

I really do not like revolvers. I dont know what I'd do if we were living back in the old western days where revolvers were all they had. Main reason why I do not favor them is because there is absolutely no buffer spring to reduce recoil.

Dont get me wrong, I am NOT a pussy, I shot my friends .357 and .44 mag, but in a real wartime combat situation, I would want a semi-auto blowback action pistol.

Very curious to know how the P7 feels to shoot and how it reacts, I'm not much concerned about the bench accuracy, I feel if it's not a controllable, comfortable, easy to train up weapon, its not worth it. The P7 seemed to be all of these, am I close?

From what I remember about the P7, like i said I was about 14, now Im 22. But one thing that I can remember very well is how hot it got around the frame/trigger area after shooting, I guess cause of its small gas system. At 14 my hands were a bit smaller than now so I couldnt tell ya anything about the ergonomics. I know there expensive though, saw one at my local gunshop for $800.00
