@jamesktmbrown lol hey bro, go educate yourself before posting. Wikipedia is a good start. :) The short version is that a "staffy" is a very recent decendant of the pitt bull class of dogs.

@r1raceguy if you cant tell the difference between a pitbull and a staffy you really shouldnt be commenting on what i said rofl. I own a 2 year old staffy and weve had pitbull's before. The only similiarity is there both part of the 'terrier family'. One has lock jaw one doesn't, one was trained to be a fighting dog and one to be a companion, there different in a lot of ways...

I'm pretty sure jaw locking is a total BS for all dogs, but I'm not 100%... I do know pit's don't. So if they're different, tell me how they're actually different... not because you saw a pit and a staffy that were different colors or were on different sides of the street once.... I mean REAL differences.

Pitbulls are alot taller, have a wider and different head, staffies have a shorter more pushed in face, Yeah there the same dog with a totally different face and body structure and different name, bloodline, behaviour. I'm saying pitts and staffs aren't materially different enough to be caught up in worrying about different names. Apparently you think so, but the problem is that you don't have any clue as to what those differences are.
