  • Is it really so hard for any one to have noticed that Manah was possessed as she was causing the end of the world as a chilled? I mean her speaking in man voice, commanding an empire that brought the world to it's knees, & killing Furiae, a woman, is more then beyond that of any average 6 year old for crying out loud. Unless some one forgot to add that little detail to the history books. Stone headed fools indeed. -_-

  • It's quite possible that the general populace of the both the Empire and the Union were unaware of the fact that Manah was a child. There's usually a thick barrier between the upper class and lower class. Such a barrier makes it rather difficult to see what's actually going on.

  • @PlacidDirge Well, the entire Empire was mind-controlled by Manah, so who knows how they recall what happened. As for knowing if Manah was possessed or not, not many people even knew who Manah was outside of Caim's party and Verdelet. And telling people "Oh, I was just possessed" would have sounded like a very poor excuse anyway.

  • Are you going to post more videos and complete the playthrough? There's not that much left, and this has been a great playthrough lf the game.

  • Argh, yeah. I'll be posting the rest very soon, hopefully. I'll try to finish it off by the end of next week. Bear with me a bit more.

  • @TwilitSwordmaster The age fifference between Nowe and Manah is only by six years.Love comes in all shapes and forms.

  • Indeed, I know the many shapes, forms and faces love takes. I think some minor acceptance of 'taboo' and 'abnormal' is required for any fan of Cavia. On another note: this stuff is light compared to the original themes of the original Drakengard.

  • @TwilitSwordmaster Well the creators must wanted a more passionate storyline rather than a more chaotic story like the original Drakengard. If you are a fan of Drakengard then you should go to the Drakengard wiki.

  • The original Drakengard's plot was just as passionate as the 2nd (and Nier).

Saying I'm a fan of Drakengard would belittle my love for the entirety of the series and Yoko Taro's works.

  • Although, I'm quite sure that Yoko Taro had no hand in Drakengard 2.

  • @TwilitSwordmaster "Sure the orginal Drakenagrd wa passionate"

Besides the fact that there is cannibalisim, pedophillia(JAPAN Version),necrophillia, possessed children and GIANT MAN EATING BABIES.

  • 1) Inuart's obsessive devotion to Furiae

    2) The extent of Furiae's love for Caim

    3) Caim's affection for Angelus

    4) Seere's idealistic hope for Manah, fueled by his sibling affection (or childish naivety)

    5) Leonard's love for his deceased brothers

Take due note that there are other forms of passion other than love. As with many other things, it has many faces.

  • @TwilitSwordmaster HA HA HA.I already knew about those moments. There is some passionate moments but it is sometimes twisted by the chaos. For example:

    1. Arioch's madness caused by the death of her family

2.Leonard's guilt about not being able to help his brothers due to engaging in pedoplhillia at the time

    3. Caim's desire for vengeance for his parents death

Still it was a great game with an intresting plot.Drakengard 2 was just more toned down in violence.

  • If you knew of the moments prior, you knew I was right in my initial statement?

Some say that madness is the spice of intrigue - whether it is: being consumed desire, revenge, or plain insanity.

Drakengard 2 was toned down mostly because Yoko Taro wasn't the developer. It was tragic, but a nice change of pace.

  • @TwilitSwordmaster Drakengard 2 did have a change of appeal but it could have been better.Too bad there will not be a third Drakengard or maybe there will bein the future. I will just have to wait patiently until a sequel of Nier will be presented.

  • I won't forsake what was a gift. Project Dragon Sphere and Gestalt were awesome.

Although, I doubt there will be a sequel for either - Yoko Taro resigned when Cavia was absorbed.
