The war in Iraq was a terrible idea, and was carried out poorly, but we cannot betray the vast majority of the Iraqi people who depend on our support to maintain the small amount of safety they do have. I am a US Marine who was stationed in Iraq for a total of 19 months over a 3 year span. Iraq IS improving, and at a rapid pace. As far as gas goes; Europe has gas prices over twice as high as ours, and thats a good thing. Just release yourself from the addiction to oil.
