I ADORE this breed. I can't wait to have one with my own family someday. They are so cuddly and perfect. Now I just gotta figure out what to name mine...

i have had 1 greater swiss and now im on my second with an 8 month old puppy.....we're are very close with the breeder and they never drool...a little shedding, i've had a nervous dog, but never any seizures
I have been researching this breed and wanting one for ten years now. One day, when I am done with apartment life, I'll get one =) I think they are beautiful dogs.
They don't drool and their shedding isn't that bad although it does increase in the spring. They are wonderful dogs but they do come with complications. They are very prone to epilepsy. The three swissy's I've owned have all had seizures two of which died from them :( I won't be buying another one because of it.
is it true that if I left one in my house while, say,i was at work for 8 or so hours that it would be wrong? or would it just wreck my house or something?
I can't even handle how adorable this is.

They are great dogs. I have two of these puppies and they are now 14 months old and 130 lbs. What was I thinking? Now I have four!
