The problem i have with DCUO mind you this is a new post for this old video.The problem is every PVP battle was with HACKERS.Do a search RIGHT NOW to find DCUO Hack.You will find the program to hack the game mechanics.Now even now they are saying wait for the MEGA servers.Which will be PS3 combined with PC servers.Here is the problem with tthat.How do you fix that for hacking?If the hackers are still there and you arent stopping hacking.There is no amount of game changes that fix this!
Because of this crap with reviewers I think they should just put a ratings bar at the end of demos so when you beat the demo you can give your feedback and lookup feedback on a game based on what players of the demo felt. Sure it won't be too accurate cause it's not the full game but at least it'll be actual gamers reviewing rather than people getting paid off or having shit held over their heads
I agree, if they are going to blame reviewers for their problems (and as of late, found out they take bribes) they need to let the gamers decide, because we won't get fair judgement on games you pay a lot for.
guys i actually saw that dmc is running the unreal engine and is running at 30 fps not the constant 60 fps were used to it also has frame drops and stupid glitches with the combat already

Developers get nothing from second-hand sales, this isn't voiding that method of purchasing them, but if you buy a game used you'll have to pay like five dollars to gain access to online features in some titles. This is unnecessary in my opinion seeing how piracy isn't a real issue with that console and that's been going on for ages? It's more than likely a move out of greed.
Hey event I heard that Kojima praised la niore use of tech for the facial expressions. I could see the snacther game playing like that it would really fit it. Now I also heard about the psn pass they trying to be like xbox live or what this is bull I do not buy games for online passes nor do want to. But I mostly stick to RPGs which were the ff series chrono trigger phatasy star 4 and breath of fire.

Capcom seems to only think about two markets (Japan, US) and everyone else is a small priority. Is it right? Not at all. But if Capcom is trying to silence it's bigger markets from backlash, they really don't care about the other markets globally. I don't think they even taken into account how many more countries are looking at them in shame.

I agree, and it seems that's hat video games have come to comparison now. Developers acts as if they're rock stars, publishers only care about numbers and not the fans anymore. Milking, new rules in place to take more of your money, etc. I don't think Capcom is worse than EA yet, but they sure as hell are giving them a run for their money lol.
If DMC tanks, capcom will either say there's no fan interest and drop the franchise or hand it over to Kamiya. I think their pride will get the best of them and they'll blame the fans.

Though Okamiden was a worthy successor to the original, and its ending made me cry.
Okami doesn't get enough credit, neither does Viewtiful Joe. God hand has a cult following, but it's still recognized by gaming media. They admitted they messed up at first giving it low scores.
gameplay of devil may cry 4 was slightly better than dmc 3 but what dmc 3 had that made it so good was dantes brotherly rivalry with vergil that made its story the best,
maybe if they put vergil in the reboot game they can actually revive it.
Saying MK is better then blazblue isnt saying much, IMO of blazblue its a sub par guiltygear reboot. That and MK is pretty much the worst title among fighters, people only play it because of childhood memorys. I gave them a try, they evolved from rock paper scissors pretty much to just mashing combos while hovering in the air... Wish theyd bring back killer instinct at least it was fun to play and the characters didnt speak gibberish.
@EventStatus I know right? It was easy for people to pickup and play, the combos were fluent, the kills were close to MK and the characters were cooler, whyd it die?
Because rare made the game exclusive to Nintendo 64, came out with another killer instinct and it blew chunks. It didn't have the magic the first one had, the characters were unappealing. And by then Primal Rage and MK3 came out, which also did combos. Not to mention Xmen: Children of the Atom and it followed by Marvel Super heroes.
@ThePhantomTroupe Most of the characters look like ass and they fight like it too. Ill admit that the early MKs were difficult but the new 3D ones are seriously shit, especially the weapon ones, so so awkward. Not to mention you can beat everyone by jumping and kicking, thats right the AI doesnt learn at all from this deadly attack in the newer games. The air hovering moves are still there and look so stupid, like that ugly forward hovering jump kick in virtual fighter but extended to combos.

Thanks, much appreciated. The developers for the other DMC games have either left to other companies like Platinum Games (Bayonetta and Anarchy Reigns) or moved onto other projects. (Like Dragons Dogma) Capcom had a great staff and let them pretty much all go.
They had some type of feature or made up style of game on GTA 4 that way. There are a bunch of video on youtube about it. GTA 4 Zombie mode or something like that.

This gaming generation is all about money, dumb business decisions, and damage control with not a single concern for the people shelling out and picking up the gamepads at the end of the day. i agree that capcom are being dicky, immature, and, above all, unprofessional about the DMC reboot, but the glitches in Dead Rising 2 are kind of a bad example for a poorly made sequel due to outsourcing, because let's face it, apart from the glitches it was a good game, and glitches don't ruin genuinely good games (like Red Dead).
The only reason I showed it, was because Capcom said that gamers were wrong about Dead Rising 2 being bad, because of the western devs. Mind you, since then, Capcom has said westen devs are lazy, except Slant Six. So they're including Ninja Theory and Blue Castle games in that category. When they're still working with them, or worked in the past and praised them. Capcom is stabbing their own partners in the back.
At this pace, with an October release date going up against Uncharted 3, Gears 3, COD, and not have the hardcore DMC fanbase supporting it. It's going to get killed.
If this game doesn't do well, Capcom will look at it as the fans aren't interested anymore in it, instead of asking how can we fix things? Companies hate to be humble it seems these days.
As for the gameplay for the new DMC, I bet it's gonna be just like Lords Of Shadow (You know, that so called "Castlevania" game). I didn't really know Capcom had been such assholes lately. Is it me, or does Capcom says that every new DMC is gonna be better than the previous one? Anyway, I'll put it simple: As for the fans, the new DMC is gonna suck, as for reviewers, it will get a high grade because Capcom paid them.
I expect the gameplay to be "okay" but not up to DMC standards. And yes, Capcom always says that DMC is going to be better than the next, which is why you can't trust their word on the issue. And I wouldn't be surprised of reviewers were paid off for it either.

Gamers asked for the developers to raise the cap, and they didn't want to do so. It pissed many people off and some hit max level in 4 days, the developers had a problem on their hands. Now they're about to come out with another update promising to fix bugs, but gamers are tired of hearing their promises.

The system lock up is the worst. It happened a lot in beta and people kept saying "well it's beta, what did you expect." And I kept telling them that it would still happen in the retail version, since it was only 2 weeks away from beta. They didn't listen. Now they're all complaining about it, go figure.

Yeah, but that employee is a rep/representative of Capcom. And I agree there are devs who know how to do it, and devs who don't. Ninja Theory doesn't have that backing in the business to trust. So they should be trying to gain our trust instead of saying they don't care what we think. They aren't big enough to pull that type of move with the fans.
Nice vid man. I'm happy to see someone else sees the problems plaguing the gaming industry. To tell you the truth,with the exception of a few games here and there I spend most of my time playing older games. It may sound strange but, I feel most games this generation lack heart and effort. Its not about the gamers anymore. All most developers and publishers care about are is nickel and diming us.
I know how you feel, I play a lot of older games myself because of their quality. It just seems this generation of games (not all but many) focus too much on cosmetics and not substance. The developers aren't the same as last gen, as they're giving us less content to eventually pay more money. Some are even already locked on the disc.
Keiji Inafune saw the future. Capcom is literally dropping the ball. They are dumb as hell for insulting people. That's one of the quickest ways to taint your reptutation. Capcom need to disregard Ninja Theory and fast. It's obvious nobody likes them, especially after they just destroyed the image of Dante.
I agree, insulting buyers for not agreeing with aspects of an upcoming game is childish. Then they want us to trust them, still buy their product when they made it clear they don't care what we think. At this point I just want to see them game fail, just to teach them a lesson.

That would be a nice set up, a mixture setup like a sports show and games. Xplay is so bad now, I can't take them seriously. Sessler's online show is okay, but only because it's unscripted. I think it's time xplay grabed some real gamers and not stereotypes. Serioulsy, G4 screams of dorks and models that want to be actresses on the shows. That's not what all gamers look like.

I agree, and using the outdated Unreal Engine that only moves what, 30 FPS? That's nowhere near fast enough for the average DMC game. The real problem with DCUO is not "high levels ganking newbies" in pvp - the main thing is that there are still (as the game is in it's infancy) a lot of bugs that people can exploit to do ridiculous damage, which ruins the arena matches. Anyone who has a problem with high levels ganking them can reroll on a non-pvp server and it is no longer a problem.
I do agree that the game has bugs, glitches etc. There's a link in the info bar about it. However, what you're suggesting telling people to move to a PvE server, if they can't handle high levels ganking them, is wrong in my opinion. They're paying the same/full price monthly as everyone else, and shouldn't have to do that. They would be only getting half the experience of the game in that case. Maybe players need to start acting accordingly, and it wouldn't be a problem.
@EventStatus Players will never act accordingly on the large. The rules of a PvP server allow anyone from opposing factions to attack each other in open world at any time. Given that opportunity, people will take it. That's the reality of a PvP server. If someone doesn't like that, they should switch servers. You don't necessarily miss out on the PvP if you roll on a PvE server as you can flag yourself in open world and still find fights. You can also still do arena matches.
When it comes to PVP, I thought that FFXI nailed it right with Ballista. Have scheduled sign-up matches where teams of the same level, or near the standard level fight it out to keep balance. Have it in certain areas of the world so you don't have to split the servers in two. This way random people don't get attacked unless they participate, also some can spectate and it keeps the servers full.

Capcom really has alienated their audience.
They remind me of Hollywood studio execs who have been at the company for years and are more worried about the bottom line than the quality of their product; making lowest common denominator products (especially looking at all those sequels.)
They have turned out worse than EA, and that's saying something.

I agree, and it seems that's hat video games have come to comparison now. Developers acts as if they're rock stars, publishers only care about numbers and not the fans anymore. Milking, new rules in place to take more of your money, etc. I don't think Capcom is worse than EA yet, but they sure as hell are giving them a run for their money lol.

gameplay of devil may cry 4 was slightly better than dmc 3 but what dmc 3 had that made it so good was dantes brotherly rivalry with vergil that made its story the best,
maybe if they put vergil in the reboot game they can actually revive it.

Saying MK is better then blazblue isnt saying much, IMO of blazblue its a sub par guiltygear reboot. That and MK is pretty much the worst title among fighters, people only play it because of childhood memorys. I gave them a try, they evolved from rock paper scissors pretty much to just mashing combos while hovering in the air... Wish theyd bring back killer instinct at least it was fun to play and the characters didnt speak gibberish.

Because rare made the game exclusive to Nintendo 64, came out with another killer instinct and it blew chunks. It didn't have the magic the first one had, the characters were unappealing. And by then Primal Rage and MK3 came out, which also did combos. Not to mention Xmen: Children of the Atom and it followed by Marvel Super heroes.

Ill admit that the early MKs were difficult but the new 3D ones are seriously shit, especially the weapon ones, so so awkward. Not to mention you can beat everyone by jumping and kicking, thats right the AI doesnt learn at all from this deadly attack in the newer games. The air hovering moves are still there and look so stupid, like that ugly forward hovering jump kick in virtual fighter but extended to combos.

I agree with you a hundred percent. This gaming generation is all about money, dumb business decisions, and damage control with not a single concern for the people shelling out and picking up the gamepads at the end of the day. I've got no problem with game companies wanting to make money, but they're shitting all over the people who keep them up running. Welcome to the beginning of the end of gaming.

i agree that capcom are being dicky, immature, and, above all, unprofessional about the DMC reboot, but the glitches in Dead Rising 2 are kind of a bad example for a poorly made sequel due to outsourcing, because let's face it, apart from the glitches it was a good game, and glitches don't ruin genuinely good games (like Red Dead).

The only reason I showed it, was because Capcom said that gamers were wrong about Dead Rising 2 being bad, because of the western devs. Mind you, since then, Capcom has said westen devs are lazy, except Slant Six. So they're including Ninja Theory and Blue Castle games in that category. When they're still working with them, or worked in the past and praised them. Capcom is stabbing their own partners in the back.

As for the gameplay for the new DMC, I bet it's gonna be just like Lords Of Shadow (You know, that so called "Castlevania" game). I didn't really know Capcom had been such assholes lately. Is it me, or does Capcom says that every new DMC is gonna be better than the previous one? Anyway, I'll put it simple: As for the fans, the new DMC is gonna suck, as for reviewers, it will get a high grade because Capcom paid them.

and also the raids also are tough the so called lvl 30 raids in dcuo is more like lvl 40 and when u about to beat a boss on dcuo raid the boss reset itself making u have to start all over again and the cliches are stupid and it locks up the ps3 systems alot and the weapons u get that suspose to be level 30 tier 3 they are weak and when u go to the vault u get low ass money like 1 to 7 dollas n the money u earn is weak which is dumb because u gotta repair ur armor alot 2

Yeah, but that employee is a rep/representative of Capcom. And I agree there are devs who know how to do it, and devs who don't. Ninja Theory doesn't have that backing in the business to trust. So they should be trying to gain our trust instead of saying they don't care what we think. They aren't big enough to pull that type of move with the fans.

To tell you the truth,with the exception of a few games here and there I spend most of my time playing older games. It may sound strange but, I feel most games this generation lack heart and effort. That would be a nice set up, a mixture setup like a sports show and games. Xplay is so bad now, I can't take them seriously. Sessler's online show is okay, but only because it's unscripted. I think it's time xplay grabed some real gamers and not stereotypes. Serioulsy, G4 screams of dorks and models that want to be actresses on the shows. That's not what all gamers look like.

man fuckin LA Noire will be another great game for Rockstar I believe..the characters are real actors,the lead detective dude is from Mad Men..there are others too..but I cant tell who they are yet..I'm sure to get this..also EA sucks hard also this FN version is no better than the last..they added story mode..big deal..the pacing of the fights in my opinion aren't real.its too fast in the punches and movement is clumsy when you move off a guy..its just eye candy and fast punching..SMARTER AI EA

By the time April comes around, no mater how good it looks, people won't be impressed due to those interviews. They've dug a hole too deep for themselves already. LA Noire is a day one buy for me. It looks great and you can tell how much hard work they've put into this game.

I just found out that you had to buy Jill and Shuma Gorath seperatly each 4.99 on PSN. Are u kidding me Capcom!? U are going to lose more if you do this with every DLC. Wait you dont care Capcom I forgot you care about ratings and numbers.

What are your thoughts on Alice Madness Returns? I believe that the first one came out in 2000 I think. To me this sequel looks amazing.

I think it does look as great, if not better. However, I will say judging by first glance that the game is very bright, vibrant. Not as dark as it used to be, but maybe in the end that's a good thing.

The real problem with DCUO is not "high levels ganking newbies" in pvp - the main thing is that there are still (as the game is in it's infancy) a lot of bugs that people can exploit to do ridiculous damage, which ruins the arena matches. Anyone who has a problem with high levels ganking them can reroll on a non-pvp server and it is no longer a problem.

I do agree that the game has bugs, glitches etc. There's a link in the info bar about it. However, what you're suggesting telling people to move to a PvE server, if they can't handle high levels ganking them, is wrong in my opinion. They're paying the same/full price monthly as everyone else, and shouldn't have to do that. They would be only getting half the experience of the game in that case. Maybe players need to start acting accordingly, and it wouldn't be a problem.

@EventStatus Players will never act accordingly on the large. The rules of a PvP server allow anyone from opposing factions to attack each other in open world at any time. Given that opportunity, people will take it. That's the reality of a PvP server. If someone doesn't like that, they should switch servers. You don't necessarily miss out on the PvP if you roll on a PvE server as you can flag yourself in open world and still find fights. You can also still do arena matches.

When it comes to PVP, I thought that FFXI nailed it right with Ballista. Have scheduled sign-up matches where teams of the same level, or near the standard level fight it out to keep balance. Have it in certain areas of the world so you don't have to split the servers in two. This way random people don't get attacked unless they participate, also some can spectate and it keeps the servers full.
