Meaning in a 540 kick you turn around 1.5 times landing in a position facing the opposite way from where you started, and in a 720 kick you land after making two full turns in the air and land facing the same direction as when you began your kick.

This means that the number of kicks is not included in the number.

You can do a single kick while making a 180 / 360 / 540 / 720 / 900 / 1080 degree turn.

If you have not learned that lesson, which is one of the most basic lessons you learn at any Dojang, Dojo or training facility, then you should go back to the basics and pay closer attention this time around.

This 3rd degree black belt can place his kicks 100% accurately, don't judge him, judge yourself.

Cheat 720. For everyone that believes this is an actual 720, follow his feet. He lands back on the ground after 540 degrees, then pivots for the further 180 whilst doing the hook. He's in the air for 540 degrees, not 720. :)

Nice kick, and bravo for putting it out there... try relaxing more. I know it sounds silly, but try it and you will feel more like your floating than spinning. That should improve the overall look of it. Also, if your an instructor, I should say... it's the other way around with the 720 kick. A 720 doesn't help define or make any of your kicks better; it's the defining of the basic kicks, (the actions you pointed out with each foot), that shapes the 720. Defined basicd, will define advanced.
