Hello, dear sweet friend! First of all, how are you? I hope all is well! Yes, I lost my husband 2 years ago and our three dogs a year after he passed in only a 6 month period of time. I was devastated! I could not bear to be without a sweet dog to love, so, rather impulsuvely. adopted Gracie! She is the sweetest little girl, perfect for me. I am training her to be certified as a therapy dog and she really is MY therapy dog!

I haven't been around yt for a while, decided I'd better take my vids off coz of copyright over music.......but came back to see if I could promote Helen's(my son's girlfriend) video - I've put it on my bulletin board thinking it would go our to all my contacts here, but don't think it has. Thanks, Liz! I am still working with Gracie toward getting certified as a therapy dog. Petsmart cancelled their advanced classes and we now will be attending classes elsewhere starting September 12th! . After some behavior tweaking (she jumps up on people) & work off leash, she'll be tested! I'll keep ytou updated. What's new with you? Any vacations? I also had my son, daughter-in-law and three grandkids from Ireland here most of the summer. I loved it, but the summer flew by!

Thank you for stopping by and viewing my video. I really loved George Burns & Gracie Allen. They were both funny, but she was the funniest! Remember, "Say good night, Gracie" & she said, "good night, Gracie"! LOL! I still laugh! I also love the name & feel she has "graced" my life. She is a very special girl & will be certified as a Therapy Dog by September. We'll visit schools, hospitals & nursing homes.

Losing a pet is devastating..We had

2 wonderful family members that passed on.

Both lived to be 14 years old.They gave us so

much love , I can understand how you felt..

Thank you for your very kind words. Not everyone understands the pain of losing a loved pet (not to mention Tree), but we have to move on in life! Gracie has "graced" my life and added a whole new dimension!

What a very thoughtful & sensitive comment, River! I have the feeling that you, too, have experienced the real pain of losing loved pets! It leaves holes forever in your heart! Gracie, however, is very healing for me. She is my warm fuzzy teddy bear! She does not have a mean bone in her cute little body & everyone loves Gracie! Gracie loves everybody as well! I lost 2 cats and a dog with in a 6 month period. All three were sick, one was not so old. I thought I would never stop crying for that period of time. We still had a dog left at that point and it didn;t take long to aquire more cats and another dog. Seems I have a "tattoo" that says SUCKER on my forehead that only certain people and all animals can see! LOL

This video was VERY hard to do and I cried through the whole thing. But Gracie is a great healing warm, fuzzy buddy! I, too am an animal NUT! I start today as a vollunteer at AARK, a wildlife Rehab Center in Chalfont, PA!
