most importantly to me, Gary's music needs quality audio equipment. His music is invariably subtle and worth a close listen. unprofessionally recorded live material does not often do justice to the beauty of his music. His old stuff was great, but I can't listen to the majority of his older stuff anymore as I listenend it to death 25 years ago. I love his never ending drive to create a new sound and keep up with the latest technology.
Love it. From the early punky stuff, to the synthpop he is best known for, to the heavy gothic industrial rock he is performing now, he has always been excellent. I would like to see him bring more theatrics back into what he's doing, though.
@XXXtremegamer666 well... in some ways bands like manson and NIN made the two virtually indistinguishable.. if you think about some of the bands that came from the whole syth pop thing like say.. pendulum.. all the tracks they make are basically heavily synthesized heavy metal :L
I had the pleasure of seeing Numan at Wembley on his final night in 1980. Truly awesome experience especially as i was only 14 at the time. He is still my Number 1 Artist even after all these years. A true hero!
the new stuff is oppressively dark. the old stuff came up for air once in awhile but had more of a deep, nostalgic depressiveness to it. depends on what you like. :)
I love him but I don't know about the whispering especially because his voice isn't deep enough.

Numan influenced by ones he influenced, mainly I see a big NIN influence here, I prefer the colder synth stuff

i love gary numans new stuff. his old stuff was great like the iceman comes and we are glass and all his older albums.
but songs like this just make me do head banging.
im not normally an involuntary head banger, but this song changed it for me!

Nice one, NB. Keep up the great work.
Too bad there are frustrated, jealous people out there that have to leave stupid, irrelevant, untrue remarks, when they should just stay away.

No he's not 70, Gary Numan is in his 40's, like alot of recording artist today. Being in your 40's is NOT OLD!
