I do love, though, that according to this video, Mario gets his full Tanooki suit by touching a leaf, which isn't actually true. He becomes half-raccoon by touching a leaf. He actually has to get a full Tanooki suit in order to perform the statue-transformation. I apologize for my level of geek. :)
PETA was just being plain stupid with this. The tanooki suit FIRST appeared in Super Mario bros 3 YEARS AGO! They never complained about it then! Also, NOW they're targeting mario? Look at the video. They dont mind his brutal mole abuse, dinosaur sacrifice, fish flaming, OR his kicking a turtlearound and bludgeoning it to death with its own shell!?!?!? Really PETA?
This video is perfect. Giving PETA the kind thank you while cleverly addressing the real animal abuse acts in Mario fame. So funny. And here I was taking it so seriously...I feel so comically inept.
@jjjackson5564 Yeah, this way, if someone only sees a bit of the video and hates it, he gets blamed. But if they like the video and watch to the end Dorkly gets the credit. Win win situation.
