The Bible is the only one that actually states the faults of all of the heroes of faith and tells you because of their sin what happened to them or people around them. Most mormons don't actually know all this stuff about mormonism, because they would realize how rediculous it is and know not to follow it. Galatians 1:8 says "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed." i agree with you, but back it up with scripture, and don't be so hard on 'em. good verses are Galatians 1:8, 2:2; and 1 John 4:1. also, compare 2 Nephi 25:23b to Ephesians 2:8, 2 Nephi says it is by faith 'AFTER all we can do' that we are saved, but Ephesians says 'this is not your own doing'. use Gal. 1:8 to show them that Joseph Smith was led astray by an angel.

I just looked at your video. I am in awe of my ignorance, if in fact your video is true. I am a Christian, a believer who understands Truth, the Truth that can only come from God's word. However, as a Christian I have been taught to question, and to question one has to be well read. Okay, I've been looking into Latter Day Saints because I love researching about other faiths and beliefs and this is by far the most kookiest faith I've been across. @LuneyTune72 I was nothing spiritually. I used to be a police officer, a federal agent, and a soldier. My mother read the quran and the Bible but all that was foolishness to me. I was all about facts and physical fitness. There was always an explanation behind everything. I researched everything, read laws, history, anything to grow my mind but nothing fiction. I worked with death, around death. I was cold to death. I could go to a scene of a child or woman, it wasn't me laying there.

@ChristianConservativ Actually, looking at nature proves science to be correct...I mean, it proves it up to the limitations of a human's naked eye. Also, people can be wrong but they can right. If you seriously are debating evolution, which is almost conclusive, then you need to provide a reason why you think it is false. If your answer is, "It's a theory," then you have failed to prove that it is false.

@ChristianConservativ I have actually read the Bible, I used to be a Christian. I have also researched many other religions. I know exactly what the Bible talks about, I can't quote the whole thing because I have a life and don't care that much about a book. If you take the Bible (Old Testament) literally as it was written a few thousand years ago then fine, your way of thinking is over 4,000 years old. I'm just saying, maybe update you should mind.

@LuneyTune72 I was nothing spiritually. I used to be a police officer, a federal agent, and a soldier. My mother read the quran and the Bible but all that was foolishness to me. I was all about facts and physical fitness. There was always an explanation behind everything. I researched everything, read laws, history, anything to grow my mind but nothing fiction. I worked with death, around death. I was cold to death. I could go to a scene of a child or woman, it wasn't me laying there.

@LuneyTune72 I was a good officer and agent. I could get people to talk, could solve cases, not one of my cases ever got sent back from the PA or DA and I never lost a case. Of course a lot were plea bargained down. But that was not me that was the attornies. I graduated early in high school, in the army at 17. I graduated usually in the top 5 of everything. I had life by the tail, I thought. The further up the chain I rose the more corruption I saw. The hand offs the turned heads.

@LuneyTune72 So I left it all. All law enforcement behind me and went back into the military. At least there, there was a chain of command accountable to someone who wasn't a politician, right? Wrong! Well in 01 I was setting in the parking lot listening to the radio. I couldn't get a good station so I just kept thumbing thru them. Finally, I got some music I liked. I was listening when this guy came on the radio. I suddenly realized it was a Christian station.

@LuneyTune72 But rather than turn the station, I listened. This guy talked about the 10 Commandments and how after you die comes judgement. He went thru all the commandments. I was a perfect 10. I had broken every single one. Then he went on to describe Hell. I had never been afraid of any man in my life. I had faced some bad situations always came thru not unscathed but I healed. There were some situations that I had been in that scared me but I drove on.

So I started thinking, what if this guy is right? What if there is a place called hell? Well if there was, that is where I was going. I had broken every commandment. You see from law enforcement I knew once a rapist always a rapist, once a child molester always one, once a murderer, you get the idea.

@LuneyTune72 So I drove home as fast as I could. I lived of base about 40 minutes. My wife was a teacher. So she wasn't at home. I ran into the house got down on the ground and balled like a baby. I asked God to please forgive me, please save me. I didn't know a sinner's prayer. I just prayed what was on my heart. That day I became a Christian and have never looked back. Probabaly around 3 months later my life changed again but that is another story.

The girl who i love is Mormon. we werent allowed 2 be together because her parents didnt want her dating outside her church. now things got worse,we arent even talking. we will eventually talk again. but i know asking about mormonism their answer is usually pray b/c they have no answer. and i know if she was to see the light , her family would be angry with her &me, and its a huge part of her life so if she loses it it might negatively affect her. what should i do? thumbs plz?so ppl see
