  • WOW!! Body Language was a Board Game before it became a Game Show!!

  • Yep, you're right, 'ckri'- I believe this was definitely seen around the final season of "HERE'S LUCY"...the box itself would identify what year it was marketed.

  • Hey - where's Viv?!

  • Fantastic! Do you have any of Lucy's other Milton Bradley commercials? I think there are at least additional commercials for Cross-Up, Pivot Pool/Golf, etc.

  • The other woman, of course, is Lucy's close friend and supporting cast member of "THE LUCY SHOW" and "HERE'S LUCY", Mary Jane Croft/Lewis {she was married to Lucy's former producer Elliott Lewis, who also had a long history of appearing in and producing/directing "classic" radio shows, usually featuring Mary Jane among the cast}. This ad, for which I'm sure Milton Bradley "paid through the nose" to get Lucy to endorse it, probably appeared around 1971.

  • No, this is from 1973 or 1974.

  • Technicly, Lucy, headache wouldn't count since you spoke. ;)

Years later Lucy would make one of her final appearences on a CBS gameshow called "Body Language". Reportedly she loved the game of charades.

  • @garrisonskunk Interestingly, at the time this game was marketed, Milton Bradley was owned by Goodson-Todman productions. The same production company later produced the CBS game show, "Body Language".
