Dwayne Cote is a wonderful fiddler. Brilliant, in fact. But a bit of a one-trick pony in that he's somewhat limited to one genre of fiddling. Calvin plays so many styles, it's astounding. And he does it with the utmost of From bluegrass to Texas Swing, French Canadian, Ottawa Valley, jazz, to traditional Métis, and of course every strain of old tyme fiddle. It's not however, a question of who is better because art is not a competitor sport. Just listen and enjoy the gifts they bring us!!
