That's one of my favorite pieces of CCM. It really puts things into perspective. We often wonder why we don't seem to hear God's voice or feel his presence, but we always must understand that he's there, whether we can hear/feel/sense him or not. This song always reminds me to continue to have faith, no matter what, and trust that the Lord will guide me down the right path, whether I know he's there or not. God bless Chris Rice for this song. :)

You took the words right outta my mouth. It's a very deep and philosophical song. You can't sense God in any way, but you have to keep your faith that He's here and now. This is one of my all-time favorite songs of all time because it symbolizes my own perspective (especially as a Protestant).
