I watched this twice, and the second time felt more intense than the first. Then I watched again with sound turned off. It was OK, but kind of lame. After a fourth time with sound turned back on, the intense feelings exceeded the second time through.
Then I played it once again, but with the video hidden. The music was nice, but not nearly as powerful as the video and audio together.
@tomclemans (continued) I recognize that usually there are vast differences between a stand-alone music composition and a film score.
While I've always known the music score can play a huge part of the experience of a film, this fairly simple film made it all the more evident how much each can enhance the other. I've really enjoyed the music tracks in some films you scored, and my appreciation of your work has just taken another huge jump. Thanks for sharing this. :-)
