Morrow got almost equal army built up from 13 scvs.

Dw terran is balanced. Pls don't nerf. I play terran. I sometimes throw matches to show terran is balanced.

Terran is only balanced when Terran has zero micro, builds only MMM, while Protoss has a shitload of HTs. Try throwing in some Ghosts with that EMP. It is an insta-win, and I know that from personal experience. Btw, Terran isn't my main, and with MULEs giving me 500+ minerals than I usually have (another possibly imba mechanic), my macro slips a little but it doesn't matter.

So next on the nerf list: Marauders, Vikings, EMP, and Brood Lords :)

I'd like to point out that in korea currently the opinion is that P has a slight edge over the other races (according to tasteless or artosis commentating GSLopen).

You also forget that Protoss has been nerfed in 16 of the 18 patches since the start of beta. Their units really don't need any more nerfing, but Blizz now decided to cater to FE Zerg noobs who expand before getting a spawning pool and get beat by 2 gate proxy. Zealots suck even more now. Also, as I said, I also play Terran. Just getting the right units easily compensates for my lack of skill with them, particularly against Protoss. Zerg is a bit more of a challenge to fight though.

there's two parts to answer this question.

Firstly, the terran's army wasn't as small as you'd think. If you look at the army tab that husky has on for most of the game you'll see that terran stayed on par in the army tab even from 13 scvs until end of the game.

secondly - a equal resource terran army consisting of MMM vs equal resource protoss army according to resource tab, is a very one sided battle. Once terran stims the toss army is annihilated + they can't run.

2nd part. Technically i'm saying both are factors to terran being op. In SC, it's generally a multitude of factors that contribute ultimately to what people consider OP.

The gist of terran is that, terran units hard counter other races units. Toss and zerg soft counter terran units. But terran already has the counter to the soft counter in the mix. e.g. roaches >marines >zerglings>marauders>roaches

but: MM >>>(huge greater than sign) zergling roaches. + tech switch is easy for t.

Protoss units are pretty expensive but have great quality. Some players find it hard to play Protoss because it requires "microing" most of the time to make good use of each units. Skilled players have little problem microing they don't even bother calling Terran imba or OP'd and they compensate for these by doing their best. We've seen great plays eventhough SC2 has been out for a while, I can't wait for future plays as well...

Protoss are a good race for beginners. If you mis-macro, Protoss units are powerful enough to hold the line whilst you make more units. Then once you get good you can mess around with proxy cannons, void ray rushes and blink stalker harassment.

However, if you want to just sit in your base and move out with a huge army later on, then Terran is the race for you.

I wouldn't suggest Zerg for beginners, because your macro and micro has to be better to get the most out of units.

@prcrazy12345 To draw fire from units. He does this when he doesn't have enough units to win the fight but by flooding the field with SCVs, he has a better chance of winning even if he loses SCVs. It's better to have a few units left and a few SCVs than to lose all of your units and then have the opponents army march into your base unprotected to wipe out your SCVs too, it's pretty much GG at that point.
