Gravano thrived on stealing, he was extremely greedy and would kill business associates at the drop of a hat. Here he looks like a fat mexican who falls into the criminal underworld over time. The narration is horrendous, his whole performance sucks balls....

Although the HBO film 'Gotti' obviously glorified Gotti and didn't expose him as the ruthless killer he was- exemplified by the film portraying Gotti insisting he didn't want John Favara killed, yeah right! He left New York while his boys kidnapped and tortured the guy. Still, the portrayal of Sam Gravano here is woeful, it captures so little. The guy was an ice cold murderer, a back stabbing, greedy sociopath. This portrays him as reluctant, even though he was a violent criminal from childhood.

I downloaded this the other night. A pleasant surprise. I loved ever minute. The Sammy Gravano character shows great range, I liked him immediately. And the John Gotti guy was a dead ringer, with that big-ass head and pompous sneer.

The violence was toned down a bit, the language could have been saltier, but this is definitely one of the top five mob movies of all time. Two pistols up!
