  • That pushing people away it's not aikido. There is no harmony, no energy flow.

  • @Maragden that's totally true, I agree with you. This is no aiki.

  • I swear, he intentionally fouls up some techniques just so he can change the techniques. When you're a Shihan, you can do it anyways you want. Any one of any lower rank should pay attention. A fine demonstration.

  • @ShanksmasterGeneral Good eye. He takes whatever people give him. This is dynamic. This is budo. He is even experimenting, studying, learning during this embu .... of course! It is not some contrived "too much uke, not enough nage" choreographed performance art. People watch but cannot see.

  • @shinjukool well... that was the first thing my sensei taught me. To see... but it's still hard with other Sensei and Shihan.

  • Very nice demo! I like the thing he did at 1:00

Great aikido and a great teacher.

  • to rough for my liking, but nicely done none the less...

  • no my kind of aikido.... In my oppinion it should be as effortless for Uke as it is for Nage... Í´d guess, that if one isn´t used to his type of aikido one would proberbly break in two :)

  • I hope to train with him soon!

  • Anyone can throw around people... you don't need to learn aikido for that...

The nage looks like he's showing off, or plainly bored of the demostration.

I kind of missed him using his hips to connect his arms to his center, instead of using plain strengt to move the ukes around.

  • Love the tai-atari at 1:27!
