How to use Cricut Design Studio

@stampinqueen31, all u need to do I'd reinstall your drivers for your cricut. Google what DS is telling u and you can find detailed instructions on exactly how to do it. I Just had the same issue with mine. 2 minute fix, literally. Took me a while to figure it out too as it appeared I was the only one with the issue! Hope this helps! ~Melissa

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP....I have purchased the cricut design studio and i have the cricut expressions when i try to cut my image it tells me that the USB cable that the computer uses to comunicate with the cricut may be out of date or not properly insalled ....... I dont know what to do...

can i use the cricut design studio software and have the designs printed to a regualr printer? do i have to have the cricut expression machine? is there a way i can install the cricut cartridge to my regular printer? thanks!

@soadorableme You have to have the Cricut machine to cut and the specific cartridge that has the font or shape you want to cut. The DS is for features that you can not do with the Cricut alone. Such as welding, place a shape within a shape, moving your pieces/layers to specific areas on your mat to cut different colors, etc.

No, the program is not compatible with mac at this time. It has been rumored for over a year. I emailed support today to check on the status.

The Cricut is awesome, but dont waste your money with cartridges, or this computer program! There is a computer program that will cut any font loaded on your computer! Go to this will not let me post a link or email, so email me at luckymomof3atcomcastdotnet (dont put at or dot!)

This helped me sooo much. The only trouble I had was with the pooh font that looks like wood. I guess it has to much cutting to hold all the info.
