What an insult WB was to the release of Trick 'r Treat.They let that film sit on the shelf for 2 years.I mean if they didn't want to release it in the theaters,why not just sell it to someone else,like Lionsgate?I mean they would have put it out.I bet after Warner Bros. saw how well it did on dvd,they realized they messed up.I read the Michael Dougherty plans on making a sequel.Who knows if it's really happening or not.

I've been eagerly anticipating the release of Trick 'r' Treat for a while. Glad to see it finally released. I need to see that movie so bad! And The Gate is movie I watched quite a bit on cable as kid. Nice to see it has a very good DVD release.

ah! i wanna see trick r treat really bad, im hoping to rent/buy it on halloween and watch it halloween night. theres a horror movie coming out in theatres called the house of the devil, it looks really good! u should look it up. laid to rest looks really good, it has two actors from terminator the sarah connor chronicals which was on tv. anyways laid to rest looks good. right on jay 5 stars!

Yes! I saw a trailer for it, I might watch it through Amazon, they have a rent it before its released option, just look it up it should come up as the first option on Amazon.

Laid to rest has some of the best kills and fx Ive seen hands down but the plot/script leaves something to be desired.

Awesome DVD update!!

Trick r Treat is awesome!! I was so happy it finally came out on DVD,but it would have been also awesome in theaters. Anna Paquin's story was probably the best for me. I never expected the end to that story. All the endings were twisted though.

I will have to check Laid to Rest to see what I think of it.

The Gate is great!! I bought that same DVD and have watched it twice since I got it which was last Friday.

Yeah Laid to Rest had some of the best kill scenes of any slasher film ive seen in years. I actually interviewed Rob Hall about the film and Almost Human FX and he told me they pre-planned and did almost all the make-up FX/kill scenes before they even began production, maybey thats why they came out so good.

Good film just don't expect the best story on earth, I liked it.

Laid to Rest rocks man! I need to get an official dvd, I got a screener a while ago and its barebones. Yeah ill agree the FX are the best part but im willing to love it for that alone.

The Gate sounds cool! Ill wait for the price to go down I think, not a fan of paying full price.

Laid to Rest and Trick R Treat are on top of my 'wish' list (along with many others) as I've heard alot of good things about them.

I've used to have The Gate on video, the only thing that I remember was a kid turning into some kind of monster on a stairway.
