  • Goliath is alive and well >>>>> PROOF 0:00

  • Your kidding right?

  • very good training!

  • whats his name?

  • I cant recommend that for anyones wrist at any level. It is a nice workout but why all of the impact

  • Nice man, this is sold training. Doing this type of exercise will train your explosive strength which is what you need for a powerful punch. Very nice

  • bad u have to do it faster if u wanna have explosion

  • guys im reading your comments and i laughed a lot

  • google image: juandissimo magnifico

  • So the guy has an accent. Do you really need to here what he's saying? Is his name important. Not really to both. Just watch & learn.

  • Must I grow a pony tail to do these exercises?

  • nice

  • I think I saw his elbow bending!

  • your strength is preety good.. your arms like the rock lol

  • excuse me? josan deba gurglegurgle?

  • could anyone actually tell what he was saying?

  • MOOMMMmmm! PHONNEE! 0:55

  • sorry what did u say ur name was?

  • i think this man ate his wife!

  • thanks nice clip

  • F*** expert village!

  • haya in the end

  • Screw combat sports I'm running from anybody who can do this -_-

  • Wandisomo?!

  • i lost weight watching him do these...

  • He is who now?

  • lol my fav part is at 1:08 when he gets in a cool position

  • After your workout

    watch?v=Vs936VNkaS4

  • When he says "don't bend your elbows" what he means is that your using the last little bit of the extension at the elbow joint. As some people have said, not bending your elbows at all will damage them, and wont build your muscles. he is training plyometrically the last part of a the ROM.

  • i'm liking this exercise. but i agree with ryanc0llins. if you keep doing this exercising without even slightly bending your elbows, it would be bad for you joints. loads of pressure on them joints.

  • on behalf of expert village i am joseph brobererbreber

  • I use something similar on and of strike shields, works well

  • if you wasnt bending your elbow it would be impossible, jus sayin.

  • i saw some elbow bending =)

  • I see expertvillage went to town making videos w/ this guy b/c he actually is giving some useful advice for a change

  • dont trust ANY expertvillage videos. most of the time they are completely incorrect.

  • riiiiiiiiiiiing

  • Impressive. Thanks for the ideas.

  • oye esos ejercicios estan realmente buenos!

    saludos desde méxico!

  • That jerking motion is not good for any part of your body... do this and you will, if not hurt yourself, then atleast drasticaly shorten the amount of time your joints will work good.

  • @N3CR1S work WELL

and I'm sure the fact that you're a FIGHTER is worse for your joints than this exercise...

  • @d50111 im sure that out of those watching this video and trying it, the minority are fighters.

  • @N3CR1S

okay no. 1: why would you watch this video if you weren't a fighter?

and no. 2: I agree with exclipse as well...

  • @d50111 regarding 1.

Such useless logic. Are you saying that only chefs watch tuturials for cooking? That only scientist watch the "newscientist channel"? That only bodybuilders watch wheightlifting tuturials?

Its actualy more common the other way around. The less you know about a specific field of knowledge, the more likely it is that a specific tuturial will make you gain knowledge. There are more bad or leisure cooks watching a tuturial then there are chefs watching it

  • @N3CR1S No, I'm saying that if I were to watch someone create a dish that only a 5 star chef could create, I wudnt go right ahed n try it. People can go ahead and gain as much knowledge as they want thru utube videos however that wont rly make them an expert on the particular field in question...anyways my pointis that plyometric pushups (of this kind especially) are incredibly usefull in gainin explosive energy which would really help out in a fight - get sum msm in u b4 trying tho!

  • @d50111 regarding 2:

Ofcourse i meant "cooking tuturial" at the end of previous post.

its nice to know that you can guarantee that, out of 142 353 people watching this video, not a single one of non-fighters have tried this.

This is realy to much talk about a silly thing. We both agree that the excercise itself, and being a fighter, are both bad for the joints.

  • @N3CR1S why do you think he saiy that u need to be strong and that this is an advanced workout

  • dutty ending

  • whats up youtube i just finish putting up my [HIGHLIGHT VIDEO] check out my page and comment and subscribe [NGF] all day Next Generation Fighter plz people

  • i will listen to him coa he's latino..

  • expert village suxx!!!

  • that looks like it's horrible for your elbows and wrists. Im sure theres a better way to do it

  • does this improve speed?

  • @lildertygangsta

Yes but you're supposed to stop as you slow down because then you fatigue yourself instead of building speed

  • @adxgr0undzer0 Good point: when building speed, stop when fatigued; if you keep on when fatigued, you are building more endurance than quickness, while likely diminishing speed

  • @lildertygangsta no....

  • does this build speed?

  • @lildertygangsta Absolutely does.

  • delts of justice

  • That's realy great. Thanks from Germany!

  • any relation to charles?

  • start now doing some micro-bone fracture in ur elbow knees and tibias if u wannna do muay thai on any level (excluding amateur training)

  • pick up the phone some1 calling you!

  • tiene acento de argentino?

his accent sounds like his from argentina i think

  • It looks cool when you do it in front of other people at the gym. It is also a nice feat of strength to do to show off now and then. As a regular training thing no. The risk and long term damage to the joints is worth it. File under the law of diminishing returns.

  • Isn't that the guy from the Fairly Odd Parents?

  • @Vernonu9 Lolz and this guy's a beast!

  • @Vernonu9 jap

  • @Vernonu9 lol it sounded like he said "on behalf of expert villiage im SUSHPAADBAKSG" LOL whats his name ?

  • @xxFairestxx El Rules.

  • @Vernonu9 Juandisimo Magnifico!

  • this is great info, finally someone who cuts the bull shit about what clothes to wear, and does the correct practical.

    p.s nice arms. !!!!

  • this is good training if u want to do thaiboxing

  • how fucking big are his arms

  • how many sets and reps would you do on a daily basis of these pushups???

  • 1 has me pretty much knackerd

  • Don't count reps. Do timed sets. for instance work for 40 secs, rest for 20 secs & repeat 6+ times. Or you could do 30sec work 30secs rest or even 15/15 for 10 mins. Lost of variety, keeps the body guessing. Training like this will put you output through the roof.

  • daily basis? overtrain much..

  • 250 minimum

  • Great Video. You want grip strength, you need strong fingers, hands, and wrists. One tool that will give you this is the Powerball. Check my channel for visual proof.

  • fast twitch muscles are used in this so unless your fit and warmed up this will be very difficult to peform. And he is finding it easy cause he has low percentage of body fat and more muscle

  • god hes fucking huge!! his arms look like redwoods

  • u have great drills

  • ...always pays off, well, for the most part anyway. lol.

    ~TonyD.

    THnTM

  • If someone is going to practise working out, they need to look up things themselves, such as the damages it can do, or any other backfires/bad things. I dont think everyone should have to post up disclaimers, or warnings, or ANYTHING, not unless its obvious, or servere. Just simply look things up, research things before you go into action. You wouldnt jump into an Ocean off a 300 foot cliff without observing it first would you??

    Good videos though bro.!!!

Keep it up man, great hard work...

  • How to get big arms as he does? :o

  • Get a proper gym workout and get a proper diet

  • steroids

  • @psylift

    troll

  • ur a faggot.

  • your an idiot

  • ill anser also with one word

    IDIOT

  • no way

  • thanks man

  • nuts

  • Gilson, thank you very much to post this videos, the excercises you developed are amazing, all the best for you bro.

  • A lot of the exercises that he is performing would be considered contraindicated in a gym setting with a standard client but a lot of sports-specific exercises are and eventually can damage your body. If you are a professional athlete making the big bucks the rewards out-weigh the risks so these videos are not recommended for the average joe and he should specifiy this with a disclaimer at the beginning. As far as the sports specifity these workouts have towards MMA they are excellent.

  • xoseph de vagally dubely doo

  • this fucks up your elbows like crazy my brother did it and it fucked up his elbows really badly i dont advise

  • u need to to a basic push up before go to extreme.if u not than ur elbow will screw up.

  • thats cuz hes a nubb..... this is for people that are in shape and warmed up.. if your not ...you can hurt your elbows and your back =D

  • i have try it and its very tough to do this

  • im justin debangabliabliga

  • Good videos...

  • u sound french!!!

  • i dont think that this is good for your elbows....

  • If you have a solid strength foundation they will do you only good. Much better for your elbows than watching videod and posting comments:)

  • Well, i don't think it would be so much easier with the flexion.... Anyway i prefer to flex in both cases, when i'm up n when i'm on floor.

  • i dont think he get those arms

    doing that

  • Those exercises are not meant to give you bodybuilder-type arms. They're great for those who are interested in functional, explosive power. Not to mention they are much more difficult.

  • thats weight training

  • do u really agree that ''doing with the flexion'' is easier? if anyone is interested...

  • yea. you just have to try doing it a few times. Its "easier" to get back up onto the blocks or whatever your using when you flex your arms bc your able to build up the momentum through the push.

Its not easier on your arms, but that isn't what he meant. This is just a variation to work different things

  • nice arms ! man thanks for this info

  • huh, this guy has realt cool and defined biceps...realy good!

  • cool- he has a cool accent too

  • y dont u jus suck his greasy italian cock

  • because your mom already did

  • try doing this to land with the hands forward of the body so it works as a plank type exercise as well- nice.

  • wow ima try it thnx mexican

  • he is french

  • no youre mum is french

  • yes i know my mother is french and so am i :S :S

  • looooooooooooool bro

  • Lol, as you were doing the jumping ones I thought to myself "It would be better to go down, then up, then jump in between". Then right after that you did exactly that, lol. Awsome.
