Just think, if Syd had not gone crazy, Gilmour wouldn't of joined up and layed down breathe, which set the tone to dark side, which inspired Wright to write one of the greatest songs in history.

Without Wright, there'd be no Us and Them or Great Gig in the Sky. Could you image dark side without those two songs?

RIP Richard Wright. You are missed by many.

I saw them at the Stadium in Chicago as well as in Phoenix. They have to be the deepest and best band I have ever seen. It's definitely an experience and not just a concert.

Pink Floyd were much, much deeper than the Beatles. I like several Beatles tracks for the melodies, and think McCartney especially knew how to write a good piano track, but I've always seen the Beatles psychedelic era as pathetic. The Beatles started out as a primitive Jonas Brothers, with songs like "I Want To Hold Your Hand", but moved onwards to more experimental music. Rubber Soul and Revolver worked. Sgt Pepper was pathetic. Pink Floyd is true psychedelia.
